That was tongue in cheek if you didn't pick up on it but in reality, EVERYTHING looks pretty much the same now days so you could paste just about any wagon rear end up there and draw a resemblance.
How does it handle better? It's a nose heavy car based on FWD architecture, so engine is on front axle. Sure sophisticated AWD system on it doesn't cause understeer in power on situation but in neutral handling situation it can't change physics. Plus it uses timing belt with DOHC.My thought is that both cars have their pros/cons. TLX sounds better, better quality interior, handles better, should be more reliable, better on fuel. Stinger is faster, looks better, has more storage. When I heard a Type S in person just the sounds of it alone made me want one.
Got beat by over 5 secs when comparing C&D lightning laps, do you think the Stinger handles better than a Civic Type R because thats based on FWD architecture too? Engineering has come a long way we arent talking about the 90's here. How does it handle better? It's a nose heavy car based on FWD architecture, so engine is on front axle. Lol, did I say it's better than type R? Weren't we talking about TLX type s? So FWD civic type R handles better, so every FWD handles better? What's your logic?Got beat by over 5 secs when comparing C&D lightning laps, do you think the Stinger handles better than a Civic Type R because thats based on FWD architecture too? You said, and I quote "How does it handle better? It's a nose heavy car based on FWD architecture, so engine is on front axle." as if that immediately writes the car off as not handling as good as the Stinger when in fact it does handle better. My arguement is fwd architecture is no longer a write off when it comes to handling and just because a car uses FWD architecture doesnt mean it doesnt handle well. My example was the Civic Type R, which would annihilate the Stinger on a circuit even more than the Type S did which already had a wide 5 second margin over the Stinger's time. Whats even worse is that the Stinger has a huge power advantage over the Type S which further tells me that the Type S is making up a TON of ground in the turns, can you not understand that? Whats your logic?Lol, did I say it's better than type R? Weren't we talking about TLX type s? So FWD civic type R handles better, so every FWD handles better? What's your logic?
Strange. In this area it's the flippin' Prius drivers who pull that crap. Corrolla drivers tend to be like the usual sport compact street racers. It does hold some truth to this. In my experience, they go below the speed limit by atleast 20. 20 on a 40 etc. Irritating.
I was always a Pontiac guy, owned two 3rd gens (Formula, Trans Am gta) and a 4th gen bird. I would love a 2015ish ZL1. Haven't really liked how the Camaro has looked since. Either way, you best get one before you can't find one.Never much cared for a Detroit V8 and mostly still don't, but I will likely get one - just so I don't leave that box unchecked - before they all go the way of the dinosaurs. Camaro SS 1LE is on top of my list now, but who knows, the latest Mustang might knock it off the top spot.
What did you end up getting ? And any regrets ? Possibly upgraded to a newer model ? Regardless congrats and cheersofficially sold, was an amazing car.
