Ah thanks, I haven't seen that version.
Cool, pics? Did you replace just the lower bezel or the trim around the audio and cruise control on the steering wheel as well?Just replaced mine with CF, and managed to not explode the airbag in the process. Only took about 10 min total thanks to the info here. Thanks as always guys.
I didn't like it at first as well, but it grew on me. I have never liked the piano black on the wheel. I was worried about messing with the airbag as well but disconnect the battery and you will be fine. If you did the screen swap, then popping off the airbag pushing the three tabs will be a piece of cake for you. I highly recommend you giving it a try. It goes really well with the rest of the "aluminum" trim.I didn't really like the silver trim on the steering wheel when I 1st saw it but it's actually a better match to the rest of the interior. Plus, when I swapped in the nav and bigger screen, I had gotten a really beat up center dash trim piece (the part that the screen sits in) so I decided to paint it silver. I think it'd look even better with the silver trim instead of the piano black. Not sure about messing with the air bag though.

This is the one I got. When I was searching, I didn't come across any GT-Line versions.I wonder if I could find a silver ornament with the GT-Line logo on it.
Could anyone please share the link to where you got yours from?
Thanks!
correct. i'll post a photo of the back of the plate tonightYou mean you can access it from the back once the 2 pieces are separated?
That would be amazing!
Looks great! Hoping to get one from the Mrs for Christmas. Goes much better with the silver center console.Did my swap today and am very excited by the new look.
I struggled a little with popping out the airbag because I was using a thinner screwdriver that somehow went past the metal bar and I was pushing into the plastic case of the airbag. I could not understand how the airbag was not popping out with the amount of force I was applying. Then, I used the screwdriver that came with the car and that worked like a dream. It was super easy.
