Why can’t you weld them on?
No, not considering no one said it would work or has done it themselves. I thought there must be a reason why no one had welded tips.Dude! What are you smoking?? You've been given answer to your question 10 times already, and still asking it...![]()
Good questionWhy can’t you weld them on?
Because people are clamping them, since it will be much easier to change them if needed. And you are probably wondering, but why aren't they welding them, right? No, not considering no one said it would work or has done it themselves. I thought there must be a reason why no one had welded tips.
No, just clamp them!!I’m thinking of welding my hatch and back doors shut. Just to firm up the structure a bit. Too much body flex!!
With a bolt on you have the option to change them out for a different look or go back to stock if needed. If you are having a shop do it they should be able to make a weld on tip work no?
Got it makes sense, just surprised no one wanted to hide the exhaust inside of exhaust look. The stainless tips might rust, the carbon fiber tips might have their lacquer discolor or otherwise get damaged. manufacturers typically don’t weld them on either, for easy replacement.
or ask another dozen times until someone gives you the answer you want.
I personally don't like the pipe inside of the tip look.Because people are clamping them, since it will be much easier to change them if needed. And you are probably wondering, but why aren't they welding them, right?
Because you can't see that with clamp on exhaust tips and it'd be no different if I used clamps or welded.I personally don't like the pipe inside of the tip look.
Pretty sure I would with the 23 GT Line and Magnaflow exhaustBecause you can't see that with clamp on exhaust tips and it'd be no different if I used clamps or welded.
The difference would be cutting to size so the 2.5" (magnaflow in my case) pipes dont extend into the exhaust tip and all you see is exhaust tip.Because you can't see that with clamp on exhaust tips and it'd be no different if I used clamps or welded.
Then just weld it, we aren't stopping you. But you could just do the same and use clamp ons there isn't much of a difference. The difference would be cutting to size so the 2.5" (magnaflow in my case) pipes dont extend into the exhaust tip and all you see is exhaust tip.
Yawn. Are we there yet?
Great question still waiting lolWhy can’t I just weld it?
