It's not gonna suck more air. The limiting factor here is the size and speed of turbocharger.Hopefully, the filters have more surface area to suck in a higher volume of air.

I saw those. I would be very nervous to drive with them during heavy rain though.Yep, its a shame that SSR stopped producing their intake system, having the air filters mounted behind the front grill instead of in the engine bay would work even better than an enclosed solution.......
Welp, there are a few people on here that do have them and have reported no issues whatsoever with weather, however if it really is something to worry about, they have little weathersock things that go around the filters that should stop that.I saw those. Less restriction = less pumping loss. Otherwise there would be zero gains for all those hot-air intakes people like to install. It's not gonna suck more air. The limiting factor here is the size and speed of turbocharger.

Yeah that’s typical AFE. Quality products for sure. The quality in those photos looks OEM, I'm impressed.
Wont come to market anymore imo, would be nice but its doneso.Yep, its a shame that SSR stopped producing their intake system, having the air filters mounted behind the front grill instead of in the engine bay would work even better than an enclosed solution.......
Here’s the installation instructions & pictures are in colour if this helps.Any luck in finding a video installation of these? The guide that comes with them is good enough but it’s not in color.
