Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

Looks good to me. Timing looks perfect, trims are a bit high so guessing you are running E85. Everything else looks normal
thanks! That was the highest I had seen trims but also the most E I have ran. So that makes sense. I honestly assumed I would still see peak PSI a little higher. But the boost curve seems to be a touch higher on this version than last.

Oh also for any that care- if you remember I was having issues with the Speed not showing when cruise control was set just - - - I have now had total of 4 tunes. And 3/4 were all boost ready on and power by mode D. All three of those tunes failed for show speed. My other tune was boost ready off and power by mode C. It shows the speed just fine. So I don’t think this is a coincidence and it has to be something to do with boost ready or power by mode. Hopefully that made sense.

My 1.5 over boosts all the time, I dont have jb4; when I run my wmi it does it MUCH less though...

It got a lot better when I got the right tcu programming from lozic.

Watching the map sensor with just an OBD2 reader shows it going up to 37psi at times.

A boost tap on my charge pipe shows it going up to 30 PSI, lozic said that's normal.

Not sure what else to do, was planning on eventually getting a jb4 and tweaking the boost with that, see if I can get it to calm down for my fuel and driving conditions.
are you still getting heat in the cabin? I would try it. if you're actually making 30+lbs of boost, then you are in the process of blowing if not having already blown your headgasket. Not good.

Maybe on the lower trim cars something is different in the way boost ready works to cause that error, cuz in my GT2, the only time I see the --- is when cruise is on but I don't have a speed selected for it and I have boost ready enabled as well as whichever option has eco set to 0.8bar and the rest at 1.4bar.

Very interesting! Maybe it is just actually a coincidence then. Very confusing. 0.8 bar and the rest at 1.4bar actually sounds great. That is currently not an option.

it was on my order sheet, but my order sheet was pretty old I think. Realistically im sure he would set it to wherever you would like if you asked.

You can request custom boost by mode settings. I asked because I was considering 0.9 Eco, 1.4 for the rest. On my prior revision I tried option B, but ended up going back to the same power levels for all settings on my latest revision. I drive in Custom 90% of the time, and after awhile having different power levels felt like more of a novelty.
I had thought about keeping it only to counteract the throttle sensitivity of leaving boost ready set to on all the time, but in the Custom mode I can set the transmission/throttle to Eco and it drives as if there is no boost ready. When I’m ready for additional throttle sensitivity, I just flip it to Sport.

Heat still works, coolant not vanishing, just did my second oilchange and no coolant there either.

Eventually I'll get a jb4 and pull logs, for now I just dont push it hard frequently.

According to lozic the system will cut off at certain limits anywyas and he suspects that what I was hitting.

I'm going to try power byol mode D and boost ready on .. see if I lose my cruise control numbers too lol

I love that idea of 0.9 Eco and Comfort and sport full power.

Hey guys, have ready every page on this forum and looking to purchase an ECU soon. I’m in California, so I only have access to 91 octane fuel here. I’m pretty set on most of the options, but need help decided on a few. I want something that will still be great to daily drive and am not sure what mode to choose. I was leaning towards option A or B, as eco and comfort will still be similar to stock and once I put it into sport it’ll come alive.

I am also not sure on if I want to go 1.3 bar or 1.4. I am slightly leaning towards 1.3 but am open to your guys opinions.

Lastly, I love some subtle burbles so I am pretty set on getting them, but can I only have them turned on when I’m sport mode and not comfort and sport? Also, if I leave the time at 1.5 seconds and pattern to A, will that be fairly conservative while still have some noticeable burbles?

Thanks in advance!

Do you have access to e85 tho? If you have easy access to ethanol free 91 and e85 you can do e30 mix for 1.5 bar tune.

I do have access but I would prefer to only run 91 as this is my daily driver and don’t want the hassle of having to go to a few specific stations that have e85 each week.

Go with 1.3 91 tune then pull some log. If it only gives you 3-4 degree pull then nothing to worry about. If you don't have jb4, a bluetrooth obd2 tool with the app "car scanner" is good enough for logging the ignition corection.

I wouldn't put it off very long with those kinds of numbers, they are pretty dangerous.

1.3 would be ideal for you then. Enough power while being safe for 91.

it definitely keeps you more tame while driving, especially with gas prices being as high as they are.

Yeah, that’s definitely what I’m leaning towards. Do you know between drive by mode A or B, which one is most similar to stock in terms of eco and comfort?

Im not entirely sure. I chose mode D. Which is eco/comfort 1.2 and sport 1.3. Honestly riding comfort on 1.2 for DD is perfect imo. This is with boost ready off.

stock is (near as makes no difference) 1 bar, for reference.
