Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

I don't recall if he posted a dragy or just stated he did it but I seem to remember him posting proof! It was quite a ways back in this thread as he was one of the Lozic OGs from what I gather.. @Slip_Angle I'm sure could chime in if he wants. He's been very active and helpful throughout this thread and doesn't strike me as a guy that would make something up for street cred ya know.
He hit it legit. He's a genuine person.

Appreciate the reply! And thank you, glad to be a part of the fam here.

1. It's a daily driver, I don't intend to track the car (other than maybe just to go once or twice for fun and see what it's like) and I don't intend to drag race it. I just want to have a great car to drive that can surprise 90% of the vehicles on the road if someone wants to play.

2. I'm coming from a '17 Charger Daytona 392. It's a fast car but more in a raw and unrefined way. Already loving how much tighter and balanced this vehicle feels as well as it seeming just as fast from a roll. I'm hoping to turn my G70 into a "Korean M3"

3. You're absolutely right.. I understand I'm not keeping it stock by switching out ECU/TCU etc. But basically only performing mods I could reverse back to OEM with little to no effort, sorry I did a poor job of explaining that. Supposedly only 400 of the Dynamic edition were made and, while that's merely interesting, I think it's kind of cool and would like to keep as much of the OEM parts in place as I can.

Thanks for all the additional feedback too! Sounds like the 1.4 and maybe TCU shift power 1 and since I don't plan on spending money in much else for the car, I think I might get that extra .1/.2 of speed and get the AWD too. What option did you choose for the AWD? It comes in slightly faster, faster, and much faster correct? Any recommendations there?
When do you plan to order?

Damn right I did. I did this emoji “100” but it didn’t like it
it also just doesn't show up at all on a regular computer, so it was entirely blank for me lol

I don't know what you consider bolt-on mods, but you're most likely not running the times you think you will with a stock car. If that were the case, then those are the numbers that EVERYONE would be getting and just save the money.

Anyone else notice, we are getting a lot of crossover from the 392 owners. Probably because we've been hunting them for the last 3 years. I posted somewhere else on the forum a PSA from a 392 owner .
You could definitely be right! But I'm going to stick with my plan of just doing plugs, Lozic goodies, and a catch can and calling it a day. We will see!

And this car and the 392 seem fairly similar in terms of speed albeit the power is applied differently (obviously a stock to stock comparison). But I was tired of driving a boat.. I wanted something I could throw into a corner and not feel like the rear end always wanted to come around on me. Love how agile the G70 is and how confident I can be through turns with it!

Was the 2nd most aggressive setting.

Within the next couple months I'm thinking.. Since I just purchased the car I'd like to let the dust settle a little bit as far as my finances are concerned lol

It's a good configuration what you're choosing. Should be happy. I would still spend the money to get the JB4. Nobody can help you (tuners included) when you have a problem if they can't see a log.

I believe Lozic offers 0 through 4 levels for the TCU tune. 2 seems to be what the majority have, still noticeable hardens shifts but isn't over the top in eco or comfort. 3 I've read is great but can be harsh for some people's taste as it really slams the transmission into the next gear from my understanding.

Edit: sorry just realized you were answering my question about the AWD and no lt asking a question about the TCU... going a little reply happy my bad!

Yes, but your question was on the AWD I thought?

Will be fun to compare. We will basically have the exact same tunes. You’ll have better altitude and the additional AWD tune and I have just intakes. Hopefully I can get close times to you. Definitely get JB4 too. Not sure if it can even be bought without fuel wires anymore but I don’t believe you’ll need those. You need the very basics. Nice 10-15 minute install.

Sorry, that was my bad, didn't read who replied and for some reason was thinking it was a TCU question lol.

Yes, how noticeable is the AWD during track driving? Can you feel the power being transferred more aggressively? I know it's function is to transfer power to the front wheels quicker but I guess I'm trying to get more of a feel for what that actually looks/feels like as the driver.

Hopefully you get what I'm asking!

Absolutely! Not to many cars on here without at least some supporting mods so curious what all the stock parts can do when the only change is the computer pushing them to their full potential.. You'll have to let me know what your experience is with your setup since you'll likely have it prior to me ordering. I'd be very curious to hear your feedback!

Just for reference- My current set up is the TCU and JB4 in Map2 and my best 0-60 is 3.94. Density altitude above 5,000 ft. This launch was by far my best ever. Hopefully I can do it again.

That's awesome!! Wicked time at that elevation.. Sounds like you should honestly be pretty close to Slip_Angle as everyone going from JB4 to the ECU all seem to talk about how, although the JB4 is good, the ECU just really dials everything in that much better and seems to pull that much harder. I'm excited for you!

From previous people's experience, sounds like a good plan to drive around for a few weeks to let the ECU adapt and refine itself. Then I want to see a new PR!

Here is an interesting question if anyone can answer.. so let’s say I have ECU tune but still want to limit a little boost in 1st via JB4. I have to have JB4 on Map0 (disabled) so would that even be possible?

I think that @Corleone1 guy might be able to answer this. I think he was running ECU w/JB4. At a mimum he seemed to be doing the most in terms of custom parameters using the JB4 and seemed well versed in it.

I have no mods other than the ECU/TCU and 91 octane.. though I am in a G70 dynamic that weighs less than most 3.3Ts
It's so hard to find what the differences are between the Dynamic and the other versions.. I read that they have slightly better chassis tuning, suspension that's stiffer, better brake pads, and that's mostly all I could find. They're lighter too?

By the way, wanted to say I appreciate all you've added to this thread. Your car and the numbers you're seeing were a big motivator for me to pull the trigger on getting my own!
