3.3TT How are Stinger owners cleaning their valves on their GDI engines?

You're absolutely correct in that the chemical spray via intake would have absolulty zero effect on well formed deposits.
However, when used in a scheduled sequence early on it would certainly assist with reducing deposit formation to a certain extent.
DI cars have rock hard valves deposit even at 1000 miles. It is a little bit, but still there. I belive they have that service as a maintenance item at 30k miles. I dont see how it's gonna do anything. I guess if you wanna keep the car till 100k miles and than get rid of it , than i wouldn't even worry about that. But if you are planning to keep it for a long time, and want it to be if top running condition, learn how to clean it manually, or have someone doing it for you every 40-50k miles ( based on personal experience).

Ok, what is the easiest, less engine parts removal way of getting a camera into the valves for a looksy?

I'm sorry if anyone asked this already but should the valve cleaning be covered by warranty? Or would this be covered only if there are symptoms?
I'm already at 105k km with mine and can sometimes fell very very slight irregularities in the idle when engine is warm. Was thinking to do a clean-up at 110k km because I plan to keep the car long-term.

The key word is preventive maintenance. Having the high detergency/solvent wash over valve should definitely make a difference if applied in a scheduled sequence.

The key word here is, there's NO preventing maintenance for that, unless you wanna keep spraying all those magic cleaners every other day. ;)

Removing upper part of intake manifold is the only thing i can think of.

Is the catch can a good way to do this? Would be super easy if so. Havent found any video proof of anybody doing it.
I clean out my OCC before doing it and spray through the oil dipstick opening.

I found a shop that does walnut blasting. They have never done a stinger, just bmw, audis, and subaru. They asked me if there is a special port adapter for the stinger intake valves.

My valves after 70k miles just before walnut blasting. BMS catch can was used only starting 50k miles. Fuel injectors were also tested and their condition was perfect. Had some roughness during idle, would see if it went away after blasting.

Any after shots?

Those look pretty nasty.

Do you push the car hard? Ever done an Italian tune up on the freeway at like 2am?

Have heard driving on freeway at like 5K rpms for a minute will heat those babies up and burn off the deposits.

Never tried it. But heard it works. :)

I like more pushing hard from the stop than high speed in highway :) from now will try periodically to use valves cleaner to maintain them clean.

I'm assuming that's after? Also, how much is the walnut blasting?

Correct.

I am located in Europe, probably the price I've spent won't help much. It's about 320 euro.

Not sure how effective that would be.
With a direct injection engine, no fuel passes over the intake valves. There's nothing to wash off the deposits.
Mechanical cleaning is the only real solution if the deposits are bad enough.
