What did you pay for your Kia Stinger?

yeah but if you put down $9200 your monthly would probably be $59 or so.
You are right..
Im too jealous of you all who has stinger..
I just walked out from the dealership and came back home with my 2017 accord. It was too sad night. So I drove S mode on accord lx...lol it made me feel little bit better.
Stinger is not for all of people.
But its too attractive.

that sounds pretty good. I'd jump on it. the Panthera metal is such a great color. it's the rarest at my store, we sold our last one a week ago and won't get another for a while. we've got lots of silver and black and blue and red. the ceramic and Panthera are few and far between

nope, 48months. I plan on buying lease out, but not immediately. Figuring out my options, as me and my fiance our slamming away at paying for our wedding.

I just "selfishly" need this car, plan on making it a forever car

Yes they've had it on the lot for a couple months now, I'm thinking about haggling a bit more see if I can get em to come down a bit but I don't wanna press my luck

Include tax $525 right?

thanks for bringing that up, actually that quote was with cook county tax, I've recently moved to TN so I actually haven't ran the numbers with them yet on the TN tax. So I may be looking at a bit less monthly.

Plan on going this next weekend to pick it up. Will place a hold payment monday

I'm hoping it remains that way, this was all via email, gave em my vin and total buy out price and those were the numbers they cooked up for me. Just hope they don't go switching it up on me after I drive 5 hours to get it.

Gt1 awd with tech pacakge.

1. 36month lease
2k down
554

2. 48month lease
2k down
507

I got this 2 offers from same dealer today. Is this fine deal?
Are you doing a quick lease buyout or justzsticking with the lease?

If just leasing, divide that $2k / 36 months. Add that to $554 a month and you are right around $600 a month.

$600 x 36 = $21,600
Residual = $23,600 (52% of MSRP)
Total = $45,200
MSRP: $45,450

IMO, not really... you should get more off purchasing for sure. But if it’s about not being able to put more than $2k down and affording a 60mo loan/monthly payment, then you are looking at an 8 year loan - 3 years on the loesse, then finance the residual for 5 more years to afford it...

I don’t have a clue on your tax rate, fees, etc...

I would suggest:
- Negotiating off the sticker as much as you would if purchasing - in the PacNW, $2k - $3k off

- Making sure you get 100% of the lease cash off that price, then run the numbers.

Lots of great people here that show everything about a lease. Check out those posts and you’ll be in a much better position to save thousands.

Good luck!

@Yong, without going into all the details, I'll let previous posts do that for us: Lease then Buyout - Contract Explanation

Go check that out. You'll learn a LOT really quickly.

QUESTION: To answer your question, a lease buyout means you lease the car (using the best technics laid out on this forum), and then after Kia Motors Financial has it loaded into their system (roughly within a week), you log into your account and buyout the car. What happens is you end up not paying the massive interest in those 35/36 months worth of payments you have and only pay the Depreciation cost. It's a way to take advantage of that large lease cash to use against the price of the Stinger to purchase it. Thus, the goal is always to purchase, and do so by taking advantage of the lease program.

Good luck!

Nope, I've seen that one though. It's more north east. I hate saying much cuz I don't want anyone to swoop in and poach it from me haha, I know one could find it if they wanted, but Ive been talking to the dealers for a couple months on this lol

I managed to lease a GT 1 for 4,000 down + 4,500 in trade for 368/mo for 36 months o plan to buy it out at the end. Feels like a good deal it's close to the calculator on Kia's website. But it was hard fought

Congrats! W/trade-in that’s around $493 a month or roughly $17,700 in 3 years time to rent a car, and next time around you’ll have nothing for trade-in. If the residual is around $25,000, then even a 5-year loan on a used car is going to be about $425 a month. Nothing against it, I’m sure you’ve worked through all of this.

Glad you found a good deal for yourself - enjoy the Stinger, it’s an amazing machine!
