Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

I've had my TCU -5 pressure 3 Installed for 3 days now and so far I really really enjoy It. I usually manually downshift my car as I come to a stop and yesterday as I was doing so I downshifted then tapped the brake and It felt like the car dropped two gears In one. Very aggressive movement that did make my eyes get wider . One forum member stated that the car should've came from that factory like this and besides that little eye opener I agree.
I haven't installed my ECU 1.6bar Backfire tune yet but whenever I do I'll let yall know how I feel about It.

Yep. I have pressure 3 and it is faster than a DCT, especially at wot. Very close to PDK. I wouldn't want it any other way!

Hmm. Hopefully I won't regret going for level 2.

Edit: still waiting on mine. Seems to be in customs since 8/5, which is to be expected. I'm hoping it arrives this week or early next.

Yes, NorCal. Dang. At least, it seems like it's in customs - what did everyone else's tracking info look like?

Anytime I've had something go through Customs there was a spot on the tracking information making some sort of mention of it being in the hands of U.S. Customs.

Yours may not have arrived in Customs yet.

Dang.

when it reverts to D. do yall just hit the paddle shifters or do you guys actually pull the shifter to the left which would be the manual mode? I've never had it turn back to D on me when I put it in any mode when I manually shift it into manual mode.

and are yall just saying f*ck the warranty and getting the ECU and tcu? I still have 50k miles on my warranty. I want to say screw it and just buy it but part of me wants to play it safe and not end up having to pay for an engine or transmission.

For those of you with the TCU in shift-by-cable cars, does the transmission hold a gear in manual mode to redline? Having a GTS, I’m trying to figure out what I would lose, if anything, by going with a Lozic TCU. Currently my car doesn’t shift back to auto mode from manual mode when I come to a complete stop and I hope I can retain that behavior as well. I can’t remember if that was a common feature of all cable-shift cars or just the GTS.

You get to keep your stock ECU, so if you need warranty work you put that ECU in and go do your Business.

is this just a problem people with TCU's are having?

oh f*ck yeah then!

I plan to send my ECU back for a re-map with the boost ready function off, Lozic said the boost ready function and the peak boost are not related.

I'm just trying to decide if I leave it at 1.5 bar or go to 1.4 bar. With JB4 and 93oct I felt like I was seeing more timing corrections than I'd like, but Lozic said its fine as the ECU will protect the car from damage and is constantly learning. Still not sure what to do!!!!

Lozic said the difference between 1.5 bar and 1.4 bar is torque. The maximum horsepower is the same.

I plan to do the TCU (when he returns the ECU) with a shift pressure of 2. Lozic said the interval between -5 and -8 is very short. Since I rarely paddle shift he suggested -7% since I don't use paddles often.
Darn that’s what I was afraid of. Just received my ECU but haven’t installed it yet. Same 1.5 bar. And I don’t have a JB4 yet to keep any eye on parameters.

LOL start from page 70 it wasn't that far back

Hey, is anybody with a RWD getting a Lozic TCU? Wondering if it worth it, or even made for the RWD. Shifts seem pretty quick to me already, and with EWG connectors holding boost a bit better, is there even any point. Man I wish I had AWD. Not enough to actually buy one though, LOL.

You get redline by disabling traction control and stability. Then it'll peg redline.
