JB4 Not making a difference after install

that looks better. I would drive it on map 2 for a few weeks and a few tanks of gas, then do another log and post it up. you want timing corrections less than 2 on Ignition 2-6. .8's are decent. Maybe after a few tanks of gas, then start plating with E30 and be very careful with your mix. maybe 4 gallons of e85 and the rest 93 if your timing corrections stay below 2 you are good.

so after a few weeks, do you think I can start running map 3?
if I only use the shell 93 nitro + is that good for map 2 and or 3?

what do you think is the best case scenario for my car with my given mods from the kit I bought?
then what conditions needs to be met to do just that?

Thanks for your input !

Timing heck of lot better. MAP 2 will work as long as you have 93. Do a couple runs and post logs. Been in your shoes before and trigger finger is itching but the last thing you want is that timing to look as crappy as it did in the beginning.

Once those logs are consistent, then try 3 with a little "corn' or Boostane if your gas pumps are inconsistent. Not all E85 is "E85". Tester wouldn't be a bad idea if the gas is inconsistent.

LAST thing you want is a BLOWN motor.

Log timing looks much better. Log less though. Try map 2, and log 2nd, 3rd, 4th gear 100% throttle, not just driving around. Makes reading the log much easier.

I ran map 3 on 93 alone, but the performance was not really better than map 2. If just 93 octane, just stay with map 2 and enjoy it. Maybe add a BMS intercooler, or any intercooler for that matter. Velossa Tech snorkels are good too. Once the intake temps come down, you'll see even better performance from map 2. If modding is your thing, do exhaust too. If you can figure out how to dial in a good e30 mix and run map 3 safely then go for it. Otherwise water meth is a good add on.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
How 'bout this.......Get some Boostane and get a couple runs on map 3 and see how things are running. It is pretty easy to mix (just follow the directions) and run a tank. Even if you don't jump to map 3, there is not much downside as you are not "hoping' that the pump you are at, is actually E85 and if 91 is all you can get, the Boostane will work great.

Side affect is some discoloration on your plugs but you will still get the benefit of increasing the octane levels so that you can go to a higher map.

All i got.....good luck!!

I can get 93 and 85 near me. both are pretty accessible.
how much ethanol is in 93 fuel?
I found some good calculators but inconsistent info on 93 fuel .
Also how can I tell the quality of the fuel I am running in my car ? Where in the app can you identify ?

im downto run some e30 runs and see if it makes a big difference

this is the link to BMS site that contains the fuel-it kits/tester. The tester is a cheap way to test the Ethanol content in your mix. I would highly recommend it if you are going to run an E mix.

Fuel-It!
