Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

Been thinking it’s not necessary changing the downpipes correct? Or would I have too to get most out of the tune?
You don’t have too. However, IMO a LESS restrictive exhaust setup is better for performance.

Tell me how you think with better performance with more restrictive exhaust?

Haha. I meant less. It’s 4am here. I edited it back. Never write too much early in the morning..lol. The primaries is really the last piece I’m working on to free up my engine.

Ahhh... :)

So what are everyone’s results thus far with this tune in regards to 0-60 and 1/4 mile?
how is daily driving with this?

I sold the pressure level 3 to snowygt2 and he posted it back up in the member classifieds
Thanks! Just sent him payment.

My best 0-60 is 3.64 on JB4, EWG, CPI, Secondary, BMS front mount, intakes, muffler delete, brake snip and plugs. Since then I have added HFC and finally doing an exhaust this week and now the TCU tune. Have also worked with Will and dialing in my MAP6 tune. G70 with AWD. Should be interesting.

Now with the tcu you won't have to use a snip

Thats what I am hoping for. I got the snip down pretty well but it isn't consistent. I typically launch at about 7-10lbs. So hopefully it will let me build near that on the TCU tune.

Do you have to reconnect the snip with this TCU?
No I still have the toggle switch hooked up incase I want to play around with either option. I even wired it back up to factory one time just to see if it was causing any interference and it wasn't.

Just want to confirm this does replace the snip. So foot on brake build boost and let off brake take off like bat outta hell?

And to add to what Jaybone asked, with TCU foot on brake build boost and let off brake take off like bat outta hell without having a Lozic ECU?

Top of page 63.

I don't think the tune is going to help much with your derivations. Even if the ECU could calculate that it has no way to show you the results

I'll see myself out k thanks

I appreciate the spreadsheet one thing that is not figured in is who is using brake snip (which there is no way for you to know unless stated). My time of 4.47 is without snip you could say I would probably pick up a half second on my times by using that. I will post my results without brake boosting once my tcu comes to show what improvements there are.

Having proper LC or brake snip is a world of a difference. Depending on how much boost you launch at, you will get to 3.8-4.0 easily. I launch at about 7lbs with my brake snip. Hoping the TCU tune goes to 7lbs consistently so i don't even have to use snip.

Have you ran a quarter mile? What's your 60 foot and time/trap speed?

I only ask as I'm faster than your best 0-60 with just Lozic ECU, TCU, plugs, and drop in replacement filters.

With Lozic ECU and TCU, I would launch around 12-14lbs of boost. Any more than that and it would just light all four tires up(which in itself is fun!)

I use to be able to launch with that much boost it was fun. Then I put those 2 piece rotors on and it will hit a limit most of the time. I did check the log I was able to launch on 9.9 lbs of boost to run the 10.97.

I wish Lozic could give us the option to lock in a certain amount of boost during launching, or to be able to control max boost at launch through JB4. I'm sure 10lbs would be perfect for most people.

That would be great and pick exact shift points after you dyno your car in each gear. It would run the same every time besides the weather and fuel would be the only difference.
