Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

Just got my TCU. Thanks @SnowyGT2

First hit pulled 3.7 0-60. Going to do more once I get some gas. Only have 4 miles left to the tank and the gas station is 2-3 miles away haha. On 91 octane right now so going to put E40 in and go on MAP6 and give it a go.

First impressions:
- This is how the car should shift from the factory! Pressure level 3 is legit and I kind of want to do pressure level 4! I love how quick it shifts now and feels perfect. Almost like my old E60 M5 that had SMG.
- Downshifts are not harsh at all. Read a few people saying theirs were harsh. Its a little more snappy but I like it.
- Launch control is great. I turned my brake snip off and just used the factory Launch Control. It only goes up to 10psi then shuts off. This is absolutely perfect and will make for much more consistent times. I usually launch right when it hits 7psi. No point in having the brake snip anymore so going to wire that back up to factory
- Shifts at 5900 (ish) RPMS. I did notice my first and second gear shifted a little earlier at like 5500 RPM which is even better!

Overall: Super worth it and 100% will low 0-60, 1/8th and 1/4th mile times having this mod.
how's it drive in Comfort mode?

Also my tracking number was emailed to me on the 3rd earlier this week. Will update when it arrives.

Same. I received my tracking number Tuesday.

What is yours -5 or -8?
I was told -5%. It shifts between 5700-6000. Seems 1st and 2nd shift about earlier then 3rd and 4th no later than 6k.

So you still use the factory launch control?

how's it drive in Comfort mode?
Comfort you can't really feel it that much. For sure more than normal but nothing crazy. When driving in just sport in "D" and not using the paddle shifters, its pretty smooth. The only hard shifts you feel are using paddle shifters at WOT.

I just got my TCU from another forum member yesterday. It's pressure 3 and the shifts are dramatically different. Comfort mode is close to the same unless you get on it a little, then the shifts feel like sport. In sport mode the difference is night and day. I have to say I like it but I'm sure the tranny does not. There is no easing into the next gear, it is quick and fairly violent. I think if there weren't some tork controls happening then it could at least bark all 4 wheels from 2nd to 3rd. And on a launch it easily spins all 4, that is kinda nice.;)
The logic Lozic uses for the downshifts is almost perfect, keeps the RPMs where you need them when you need them.
Going to try it for a while, but might end up with a pressure 2 just to be safer.

When I put the Lozic TCU tune in, I turned my brake snip off and used the factory launch control. I won't be using the brake snip anymore. The Lozic TCU tune made it perfect for launching using the factory LC. Im not sure if it the Lozic is based on RPM or PSI. I slowly tip into the throttle and let it rip at 7psi. When I hit 10psi, it shut off. Not sure if that's because i went higher than a certain RPM or if it hit boost threshold.

Either way the Lozic LC is perfect and going to make launching a lot more consistent.

You're running just Lozic TCU? Or ECU as well? Or jb4?

I guess its my driving style but I want pressure 4 now! haha.

It does shift "harsh" but in a good way. My M5 shifted at 80 milliseconds in the right mode. This feels a lot like it which I love.

Great. I have jb4 as well, and just ordered level 2 TCU.
I think you will love it. I have been on the fence about getting one but glad I did. glad @SnowyGT2 was selling it cause it worked out perfect.

Overall: if anyone has any doubts about it, 100% worth it if you are looking to knock 10ths off your times.

Glad you are enjoying it! Eager to get my Level 2 delivered/installed. It's like once you go tuned TCU you don't want to go back lol

Yes, I love the way it shifts, but like you said it feels a lot like your M5. It is not a M5 and the trans of our Stinger is not made thinking of a M5. I'm just a little worried it won't last long, especially the way I drive.

haha exactly! Wish I did it on my RWD G70.

Mine gets here today. Excite!

Also fabricating the exhaust as we speak :)
Hey Avant, quick question, what tires are you running? you like them? are the decent in the rain? or dangerous in the rain? I need some new ones and looking for something that's decent on a track but that I can reasonably drive on the street too. the tread looks aggressive.
