It’s been a good run and I loved, absolutely loved the Stinger, but I’ve decided to move on to something different. This has definitely been the most helpful, most informative forum I’ve ever been a part of. I appreciate this community. I’ll be posting some parts I have fir sale, including Maxton Design parts that were never installed so if you’re looking keep an eye out for that. Enjoy the Stinger while you have it, it’s a wonderful machine.

Till next time…

Nice car.

If was a tough choice. If it wasn’t for the stupid money they’re giving for used cars I probably would’ve kept it.

Did you consider any other cars besides the Supra, like Camaro SS or Mustang GT?

I just checked and the KBB trade in “Good” price for a used 2018 AWD Stinger GT2 is $41,528 with 13k miles. I then checked the same thing for a 2019 AWD GT2 with less than 500 miles on it. That price was LESS at $41,477!

Makes no sense at all that a 2018 with less features and WAY more miles would fetch more money.

Good choice on the Supra. That is a fairly decent car for the price.

If I was going to upgrade from my stinger, it sure wouldn’t be to a Toyota. It’d be to a Hellcat Red Eye Dodge Challenger. I bought a real one brand new off the showroom floor back in the very early 70’s. Ungodly fast. And there is nothing like the sound of a Chrysler V8.

Not really. I wasn’t really even car shopping just wanted to see what my car was worth. I told my wife awhile back that the only car I would consider getting rid of the Stinger for was a Supra. I had a Charger RT and I really enjoyed it but the build quality wasn’t as good as the Stinger IMO. The Camaro’s look fantastic (again IMO) but I’m older and Chevy’s back in the day we’re horrible on build quality. That said I think most everyone builds a quality car now but I can’t get past it in my head. I like the Mustangs as well but it’s not me. I slightly considered Tesla’s and some other electrics but there’s no “sound and fury”. I might have purchased the EV6 GT if it’d been available though.

I understand that. In my mid 20’s the previous gen Supra was a just out of reach dream car for me. So when it came back I was all about it.

I remember those Supras! It was a pretty slick looking body style that seemed really well configured.

21 Supra 3.0
Luke, welcome to the DARK SIDE!!!!!....LOL

Had mine for almost 3 weeks. Coming from Stinger as well.....Nocturnal.

Love the engine and exhaust and has plenty of HP. I considered a Scatpack but after going for a drive with co-worker, NOPE...... Power is addictive but the Supra just did it for me. Did have a 22 Stinger GT as close second......

Yup, never even considered the Charger even though it checked all the power and practicality boxes for me.

Supra is a good ride if you don't need to haul anything other than some ass.

First Toyota dealer I went to tried to get me to bite on a trade-in offer fit for the Forte instead of the Stinger!!!! I just asked for my keys back and gave the sales mgr a "Stinger" smirk:mad: and left.

Second dealer saw the light on the offer and the rest is history..............................
