What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

It's a bolt-on. I'm still not sure what to think about it. Thought maybe it would look better if it was black like the other accent pieces they blacked out for this edition.
I think it would stand out too much if it was black, I like that it's the body color, it blends well and isn't overstated as its a pretty large piece...I want one! LOL!

It’s not that bad lol. It’s better in person. Photos don’t always translate well lol

I just looked again, and I do like it the body color 100%, that's what I would want on my HiChroma Red, but in red.

Today I managed to eliminate an annoying buzzing sound that could be heard from 110km/h upwards.

I was under the impression that something was loose in the dash or in the engine compartment. Or even the sunroof.. Very hard to locate for me as a driver. My girlfriend managed to locate the sound as coming from the passenger footwell.
It turned out to be a bloody pebble caught under a plastic cover, right behind the front right wheel. I am so damn happy!

Been bothering me for more than a month. Maybe check those areas if you have similar sounds.
That's not my car... just for exemplification purposes. Mine was very easy to remove on the side of the road :)

Nice find.

Junesrig - why did you remove so much trim? Or did you swap more than the just the shift lever?

One of my favorite mods - have had since like 3 months into owning the car, and can't imagine going back..

The boot is clipped on from underneath. That entire panel comes up rather easy, It's just clipped on.

I attempted to just lift the boot off but it was being stubborn. It was just easier to pull the console trim off. Tried following threads on this mod but none really explained the process completely. It was a fun easy DIY project.

Fun and easy 2 of the best things when mods are involved.

That looks so nice.

could you please take some more pics of the back in different angles? i would literally pay you lol, please?
Haha. Here's a couple. I think it looks best directly from the back but I don't have one of that yet and it's too dark out right now to get a good one. I'll add one to this post tomorrow if I can remember PXL_20210609_235436690.jpgPXL_20210609_175648905.jpg

I washed mine for the first time in a couple months. Gotta get those Cicada guts off.

I also dumped 2,000 miles worth of oil catch can fluids and cleaned under the hood.
