"... repeatedly and quickly applying the brakes" (when cold). Lol. Never. Until my car is up to operating temperatures, I drive it like Mr Glass. :D

Right, why would you do this? lol

Respect and fear. I'm a good steward of the things in my care. And I have zero chance of this TSB issue if it is caused by "spirited" braking before the car is warmed up.

I was just at the dealership, and yup. I am part of the recall. :(
Parts are ordered so just want to get it done.

Checked my VIN# and my wife's Stinger both have this recall. Set the Appoinment! Thanks for posting.

Doesn't just effect the brakes when you do that. I've had brake issues every winter due to cold. To the point ABS and ESC lights turn on just starting the vehicle.

I was saying why would you get in the car and mash the brakes hard and alot when its still very cold.
Not why would you get the recall performed. Sorry for the confusion.

I have a 3+ point turn just to get my car facing down the driveway, either forward or reverse depending on the configuration of the other cars. Then I have to stop at the end of the driveway, which is at a substantial negative grade.

Based on the production dates I should have this recall performed, but I haven't experienced any of the symptoms.

I experienced an extremely hard brake pedal once not to long ago but it was not from what is described in the recall.
I was coming home from Import Alliance in Kentucky (roughly 500 mile trip each way) and had been driving for a few hours with out really using the brakes. Come into traffic and hit the brakes to slow down and it felt really hard to press. Brakes worked fine but was a bit scary at first. Just happened that one time on the trip home. But for the next few days after returning home, when first starting up in the morning and for a few minutes after, the brake pedal was super stiff, and I mean really stiff/hard with out much travel at all. It seemed to work itself out after about a week or so. Related? Possibly.

I have not had any issues with it since.
I go in next week for the recall repair.

I wouldn't consider that quickly. I do believe they mean quickly as in faster than the engine can produce vacuum for the brake booster. Which would not be in your case.

If you were using adaptive cruise then this is something I've experienced as well. It happens occasionally with auto hold too.

However, when it happens to me I get mad because I wish my brakes felt that responsive all the time.

Check how?
Call your dealer where you bought your stinger and have them check your VIN# in there computer or Check your Stinger build date "Affects 2018MY Stingers with build dates between Sept 27, 2017 through April 24, 2018."

Like mr glass....except curbs. So many curbs.
Hey, I haven't curbed a wheel since February '19; now, car wash rim damage happened as recently as March last year. But that's never going to happen again.

I get the hard brake feel in the am after she sits overnight. I have an appointment on Friday for this.

I just got this in the mail too. Prolly won't do it unless I experience issues.

For any Aussies reading this thread, I've booked a 30k service for next week and asked if this applied to our cars. The answer was "no". Service receptionist also said she had a call from another owner asking the same.
