what gen? the following observations only apply to the gen 1(?) - till 2017. I've never driven the newer ones. You trade some aural style for some substance with the refresh.

If he uses launch control it's not a contest, and if the race is to extra-legal speeds it's not a contest. Stoplight drag race from a 1ft rollout though... it'll be close! The Audi pulls like a freight-train as it revs up, but the cars feel pretty similar in the low end. I guess that makes sense on the spec sheet too, as it's got the Kia beat on HP but vice-versa on TQ, and the weight is pretty close.

hahaha. Love the stinger of course... but rs5 for sure... we compete more with the "standard" S5 sportback.. not the full on RS .

If it was the NA V8 RS5 you'd take him but not the new TT V6, those things are potent.

You will lose badly from a dig and also loose from a roll. You need a well modded Stinger to keep-up with those beast.

a Stock RS5 is a sub 12s and would probably be able to beat a few (not many) of the Stinger in the top 20 1/4 list. From a roll all of them should beat the RS5 thought.

well if I have to lose to someone I'm glad its my son , he's just getting the hang of his new whip and I've had a bit of time behind the wheel and I can say I've never driven a more "violent" car , in comfort its still a well composed beast .........................I need help ! Bawaaaaaa !
