well if I have to lose to someone I'm glad its my son , he's just getting the hang of his new whip and I've had a bit of time behind the wheel and I can say I've never driven a more "violent" car , in comfort its still a well composed beast .........................I need help ! Bawaaaaaa !

Maybe it is still time for you to buy JB4 to help your case. If you have access to some ethanol gas + JB4 you should be able to keep up close from a roll compare to being walked away.

Most stock Stinger AWD are also slower vs stock Stinger RWD so you are probably more than a second(like 1 to 1.5s) behind the RS5 and this is huge.

I had JB4 Map 2 and intakes and couldn't get my damn Stinger in the 12's.

Regarding the RS5 launch...Germans don't joke around when it comes to launch control. My M240i did 12.7 bone stock last year whereas my tuned Stinger ran 13.3, it's literally all in the launch. Tuned Stinger had more grunt from a roll, but the M240i has a ~2500rpm launch that you can FEEL build boost.

I'm trading it so I don't plan any mods , as Revv said the Audi from a dig is going to be unbeatable( its a Quatro too ) , I'll have a better chance from a roll ................I drove it again today , what a beautiful bit of engineering , its not worth double our Stingers but it is such a beautiful car to drive

My 0-60 time is almost identical to the RS5.

it was a weirder move going from a "big SUV" to the Stinger , I need the practicality of an SUV but I want the sporty driving dynamics that the SQ8 offers ..................plus I Iove they way they look , see attached , I can trade cars with my son if I need a sedan fix .

( shit , you get practical as you get older too ! )

I totally get the perks on a SUV. I'll admit the wife's is much easier to get in and out of than my car, or my Stinger, or my Mustang. It's just too bad that they've become so popular because it's killing cars, especially coupes. I remember in the 90's and 2000's when pretty much every model had a 2 door.

I'm going to keep rocking coupes as long as my body is able. I just like them too much.

I said once before here but I'll say again, if I HAD to have an SUV, it would be a Porsche Macan or a Q8 (Preferably RSQ8) lol. There's some neat tech in the Q8 models that make them drive more sports car-like, so that's probably a big plus. The wife will be up for a new vehicle in about 3 years, I'm going to see how the RDX fairs, I've heard good things about how that drives. She said she'd look at a BMW but I told her she won't be willing to pay that much, plus she keeps cars past warranty.....we'll be bankrupt lol.
