Exhaust Tips

I have the Borla's on the way. I like the round more-so than the oval. When you say "some grinding"...how much we talking here?

I'd estimate the oval cutouts in the rear fascia are approximately 110 mm (W) x 80 mm (H), so any circle greater than 80 mm diameter will not fit, particularly if the mounted exhaust outlets are not perfectly centered. This will require some bespoke carving with a rotary tool like a Dremel (use masking tape or similar to prevent/minimize paint chipping on the modified surface) either above or below the existing cutout, depending on actual fitment to the exhaust.

For the Borla tips themselves, they appear to simply replace the OE integrated tips and not mount directly to the Borla S-type exhaust outlets, so installation shouldn't require any trimming.

Instructions can be found here: https://www.borla.com/A-35962.pdf

Appreciate the information. From what I've been looking at based on comments here and other threads I'm looking at 51x89 for the round Akropovic Tips (28.2US $ 38% OFF|Car Carbon Fibre Glossy Exhaust System Muffler Pipe Tip Straight Universal Black Stainless Mufflers Decorations For Akrapovic|Mufflers| - AliExpress)

So, it's basically less than 10mm of 'carving' up or down (based on fitment).

So, after this post, I searched to see if someone else had asked this.....and didn't have any luck.

Does anyone have a pic of the before/after to see what I'm getting myself into?
Really not much at all. Nothing visible. We don't have pics. It was grinding the top-inner lip side a few inches. It was really not bad at all.

Did not need to trim bottom part of the oval.

Nice. What exhaust did you end up going with? You already been using it with stock tips?

Awesome goodluck. At least you won’t experience the issue with stock tips. Just imagine whatever you don’t like it’s 2x worse if you didn’t buy the tips haha. Hope you enjoy it!!

Most people want the aftermarket tips to eliminate drone on their aftermarket exhaust. The stock ones don’t help with that.

I have a muffler delete and I been trying to find some dual exhaust tips for awhile for my Stinger GT and I'm having no luck whatsoever.

I would like to know if anybody had any luck with finding dual/quad tips that didn't require any trimming to the bumper area, because the exhaust shops in my area don't trim bumpers (diffuser) smh and I don't have the equipment to do it myself.

If you can provide pictures of the tips installed on your vehicle and the size of the tips you have, I would really appreciate it. Thank you in advance!

I saw the link, I'm not looking to purchase 4 individual pieces, because I have a muffler delete with only 2 exhaust pipes and not 4. That's why I'm looking for a 1 welded piece dual exhaust tip.

Pretty sure I saw some like that on eBay when I was searching..

Ok looking for some opinions. How do rhese look? Stick out too far? Had em on a few days. Really helped reduce exhaust noise in cabin berhey stick out, versus my old tips. Running Borla.
