H&R RWD specific lowering springs

If yours come the same route that mine did they'll also get stuck in Customs in New Jersey for a few days. At least you're on the east coast. Once mine got to USPS they still took about another week to get to me. I'm not good at waiting for stuff but the shipping communications have been really bad during the pandemic which makes things worse. On the bright side, once you get them installed you're gonna love them. I have a RWD and had Eibachs originally so I had a little more gap on the front wheel well than I liked. I lived with it until I got lower profile tires and then it got worse so decided to swap 'em out for H&R. Stance looks great now.
Hows the ride in comparison to the eibachs?

Pretty much the same. Besides the stance issue I had been getting a vibration especially at freeway speeds that I had read might have been associated with the Eibachs. H&Rs solved that problem too.

Okay good to know. Trying to make a decision here. I have H&Rs on another car and it rides good. Smoother over road cracks and ripples etc.. But firmer on actual bumps. I didnt want to rough of a ride so was trying to see the difference between the two.

Vibration? I havent read that. How would springs cause vibrations? Thats interesting.

Not really sure but they did apparently. It was fairly subtle but still noticeable.

It feels basically no different from stock for the most part. I think the front may be softer and the rear stiffer? I'm going to install the Mando in a couple days and will play with it some more.

Over all, I like it!

Would you be able to get me some clearance measurements? Ground to fenders and ground to bottom of front bumper and ground to bottom of sideskirts?

Have had my car lowered on these springs for a while now and started to dislike how underdamped the rear is due to the increased spring rate. I ended up purchasing a Mando ECS 10 to readjust the damping on the electronic controlled suspension and created a custom "Basic" setting that I think works well to replace the Comfort setting. It greatly reduces the excessive underdamping and makes the ride smooth and controlled. Here are my new Comfort settings for the ECS10 and thought I would share for those interested in trying it out:
Just so everyone knows, I'm on the H&R RWD specific springs, with 20x9 and 20x10.5 wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport 3+ A/S tires (it's winter here in WA).

Ride: Front= 45%, Rear = 40%
Handling: Front = 55%, Rear = 49%

If you have one, let me know what you think. I'm still working out the new custom "Sport" setting to my liking, so stay tuned.

I’ve read all the post in this thread. So what is the consensus on removing the bump stop for our RWD?
Thanks!

They're fine as they are. No need to cut

Does anyone else feel the rear on these RWD-specific springs sits too high? I'm tempted to remove the rubber spring isolators to get a little more drop in the back.

that, or cut a coil

My tire is tucked. I would hate to be any lower without bags.

I just got my H&R rwd springs. And debating if I should cut a 1/4 or 1/2 a wrap of coil off the rear.

Are you sure you seated them properly? Shouldn't sit that high if at all. Have you driven since installing. They should drop some once you drive some.
