I was able to get the
EWG wires to work. It was definitely user error. I had the pins hooked up correctly but I switched the driver’s side with the passenger’s side. I thought I had it right but it was wrong both times I tried it. Now it is right and working perfectly.
I changed Default Wastegate Position back to zero. That made shifts a little less jolty. I like the WindBooster for pedal response.
Overall, I am really pleased with the JB4. It really does what they advertise. I have been able to keep my traction issues in check and I am about 5 mph faster in the quarter mile. 12.5 is easy for me to run now where 12.8 was all I could count on before.
I know I can go faster at the track so I can’t wait till I can get back there again. Thanks for everyone’s help.
Now that I have it working properly I am going to try to make a video demonstrating how to connect the wires efficiently. I did it several times this weekend so I got the time it takes for install and uninstall down to 15 minutes total. That includes taking the intake off on the passenger side.
