Which is everyone's favorite car wax?

Do you really mean wax as in carnauba/montan/bee wax etc ... or the extended "wax", which includes hybrids, synthetic sealants like FK1000P etc?

I got my car ceramic coated as I took delivery and I initially planned to maintain the protection with ceramic coating products. But then I realized that I don't have a garage to do proper ceramic coating stuff (e.g., top coats such as Carpro Gliss, Gyeon Booster). So I am actually leaning towards waxes that can easily be applied in the environment I have now.

Now, there's probably not possible to give 'one' favorite wax as there are waxes for different types of cars and usage of those cars. My Stinger is a daily driver, so those high-end, high content of natural ingredients in wax targeted to give an ultimate look by sacrificing durability is out of the windows. I am talking about those that literally melts in minutes but looks great on a show floor.

Having said that, I am currently using Carpro Reload as a topper for my ceramic coating. Now that I am starting seeing more and more micro-scatches on the paintwork, I'd say by mid-summer I have to start thinking about jewel agents (I am thinking Carpro Essence Plus) to 'fix' those micro-scratches on ceramic coating. Then, after polishing the car (by hand) with Essence Plus, I have to make a decision on what I want to put on as protection. As I said, initially, it was going to be a topper, Carpro Gliss, but now I am leaning towards paste waxes. Specifically, the Fireball Fusion Wax. It's a hybrid wax, natural Carnuba with ceramic (Sio2) content. The good thing about hybrid waxes is that I can still use Reload as a topper after every wash.

But the Fusion wax is bloody expensive (about 115 USD for 100grams). So I will be using another wax/sealant (or sealant in a paste form), the Finish Kare Hi-temp paste wax, FK1000P to be used on the wheels and other obscure places, like in the door jams and such.

In short, my favorite waxes are Fireball Fusion Wax and Finish Kare 1000P. I am actually waiting for a sale on the Fusion wax, if I can't get a good deal or win the lottery by then, I still have no problem waxing the entire car with the 1000P.

Personally, I will use something new. I had used Fk1000P and dozens of others before. Fk1000P is an old workhorse. Cheap, easy, very good results .. can still recommend that. Newer is something like Fusso Coat 12M .. also long lasting, teflon based asfaik. And there is Sonax Polymer Netshield and Brilliant Shine Detailer .. I will use those. Silicone based (scares some people) and very effective.

I was also looking at the Fusso, I've heard that it's harder to apply compared to the 1000P. Have you tried both?

Somehow, here in Korea, we can get almost all soft99 products but the Fusso.

If I can find a good deal on the Fusso, I may buy it over the 1000P. Though, the 1000P is incredibly cheap, it's unreal.

I only tried FP1000K .. fusso is a hearsay I get from two detailing fora I read (german and UK) and in both fusso is liked by many. Yeah FK1000P is amazing at the price and the quantitiy you get. I'ts probably the best suggestion for anyone on a budget (or simply sane).

I think the fusso is a better product actually, from reviewers, etc. Though the 1000P is not that far behind. The thing is the 1000P is 22,000 won and fusso is like 60,000 (because it's not available in Korea so have to import only) and it's half the size.

I am gonna try to find the Fusso for cheaper though. Thanks for the recommendation!

Okay, which car wax is your favorite? I'd like to see as many brands/names as possible and then we'll put up a poll...
I stick with Meguiars whole line of waxes, from their Cleaner wax, to their Quick Detail spray wax, etc. The shine is deep and lasts a while, so I haven’t tried anything else in years.

ewwwww , the visual just makes me ............bluhghhhghgg:lipsaresealed::lipsaresealed:
