These changes are bizarre for a mid cycle refresh. Taking away features from an existing trim and then making customers pay for them is not a good way to make a hard to sell car more appealing.

I agree, they are starting to approach the G70 in price now, if the 22 year pricing if it ends up being true (I haven't looked at the VPOG yet). I love Stingers, I sell Kias, but the G70 is just literally a better Stinger. If I only had to pay $2k more to get a Genesis... I would. (Starting sticker on a G70 V6 AWD is 56,000 according the the Genesis Canada website)
My guess, Kia knows the 22 Stinger has the better updated tech and safety, so they can charge closer to the G70, which is using the older tech still.
