Depends what you mean by better but generally speaking E85 has a similar octane rating to 100 unleaded when you factor in the EGT reduction E85 provides, in my opinion.
My guy is pretty specific when it comes to that stuff he's not one to grab a coil pack and not put it back in the same spot, I can ask him though. but the other thing that still troubles me is it was fine for a couple of weeks no issues, that was very light and then it start to get worse and worse. But it's totally random, sometimes I can go through all the gears wot with nothing no problems. Other times I'll just get a misfire under load under certain throttle position and it's so damn random. I'm leaning towards a spark plug of some sort possibly or not torque down properly I will talk to him about that as well anybody have the torque specs on the spark plugs?
Hey @Terry@BMS if you have some time, can you take a look at these logs on map 3. These are from last night, my mods are injen intakes, ark catback and velossa snorkels. I am using 5gal e85 and the rest 91octane. Thank you in advance!

So I'm going to check these new Denso plugs because I'm still having major misfires in trying to root out the cause. I'm thinking of recapping the stock plugs putting those in there to see if it goes away, which would point to a bad Denso plug. If it doesn't go away then we can probably assume it's a coil pack which blows my mind with only 10000 miles on the car, which kind of tells me bad coil pack from the factory.
Does anyone know the factory torque specs for the spark plugs. this one wasn't torque down properly or none of them talk down properly I wonder if that could random intermittent misfires which I'm getting

you keep saying it blows your mind it could be a broken coil but what blows my mind is that you ran a tune on high maps when you didn’t take the time to read on about gapping the proper upgraded spark plugs... you probably damaged something and you still wondering how it happened....
The coil conduction spring might have been overheated when the wrong plug gap/plugs were run, that could lead to misfire, and additional plug damage. Torque is 15-21 lbs for the denso plug, and if not from burger sports you may have gotten denso knockoffs as well.
If I didn’t have a 125k warranty on everything other than regular maintenance items, I’d probably dabble in the idea of trying the JB4. I’m sure it’s awesome but I’m probably no better at messing with performance stuff than OP. That’s all I am saying. Not worth risking losing my warranty over some more horsepower. When warranty is over if my car will last 125K I’ll try it then but I imagine I won’t have the car by then since I only drive about 10k a year at most.
