That's a killer price, they want $800 to $1000 around here when I looked.Powder coat. Got a discount because I bought "summer" wheels from them, so, they did each wheel for $100.

I think your wheel caps not being fully blacked out is a nice touch actually. I like the little silver ring around the logo.Personally, thread necromancy is entertaining. And this one about My Wheels (did the gloss black powder coat on the OE GT wheels) is particularly permissible.
Just buy the black Hyper dip and do it yourself. Then you only spend about $22 per wheel.

Shadow Black HyperDip™ Wheel Kit | DipYourCar
HyperDip™ Shadow Black is a deep, rich Satin Black right out of the can. No topcoats or enhancers needed. HyperDip™ is the latest technology in peelable aerosol paints. HyperDip™ is still peelable like Plasti Dip, however improved in every way. HyperDip™ will transform your wheels and...www.dipyourcar.com
Dipyourcar has an anthracite version of the Hyperdip. I don't have any issues of durability with plasti-dipped wheels. I plasti-dipped wheels on a previous car and 3 years later they looked the same. The only time the plasti-dip will get messed up is when you have your tires taken off and new ones put on or you curb the wheels (which will also mess up any powder powdercoat too). Spending $800 to have wheels powdercoated is too much to me when there are cheaper alternatives. Just to be clear, not bashing anyone who pays for powdercoating. $800 is just a lot of coin to me and the plasti-dip is a pretty good alternative for much cheaper and there are a variety of colors if you get bored with black.I have considered it, but I really prefer these wheels in a high gloss black or anthricite and powder coating is far more durable and maint. free. The matte and satin dips just seem to absorb the light and just look a bit off. My 2016 Mustang had high gloss black and I loved it.
True! I was curious as to how much they were around my area. Received a quote of $600 including dismount, mount, and balance. I think I’d rather put money towards an exhaust though and hyper dip the wheels. Waiting for the glossy black version to come out though..,Dipyourcar has an anthracite version of the Hyperdip. if you Dip your wheels be prepared to have the bead get damaged by tire compression when hitting bumps or potholes , the tire will chip the edge around the bead and it looks exactly like curb rash ...........the upside is its easy to correct with paint thinner , to blend out the rough edges then re coat with more Dip ................I dipped my wheels ages ago and loved it , until I didn't , then just peeled it off , no problemsTrue!
