Just about to purchase but want to make sure im getting the correct stuff

So i just got my 2021 stinger and looking to get JB4.

This is what i think i need:

JB4 + wireless connect kit

JB4 Tuner - 3.3TT, 2.0T, 1.6T & 2.4T

awesome, thanks terry. Main thing i wasnt sure about was the fuel wire adapters as i thought they were built in now but i must be confusing that with something else. Ill place my order right away.

They are optional (basic JB4 is posi-tap method), but many people prefer them.

Terry, (love your work by the way) I’m thinking about placing the same order but then adding the Meth injection kit. But I have a few questions 1. How will all this run with my current Mods and Fuel? Current mods are K&N Typhoon Cold air intakes, a Borla exhaust and 98 octane which is the same as 93 in the USA. Now with the above said and if I install everything on @Reldas list plus meth injection, what’s the highest map I can run?

of course let the expert tell you but pretty sure with WMI you use Map 7

Map 7: Progressive WMI (water/meth) map. Increases boost as a function of methanol flow & methanol boost additive. Holds boost low until WMI is flowing to avoid tip-in knock, and reduces boost as a function of WMI flow in the event of interruption like running out of fluid, leak, or component failure.

Map7 is the progressive WMI map, and it's boost target is adjustable based on the meth additive entered. This determines how much boost you're running under full meth flow. Nice thing is if meth flow drops or fails to come up, the tuning is sorted automatically for safety. Meth is really popular for those who don't have easy E85 access.

You'd probably run around a 60 additive on 98 RON (93 RM2) which is roughly equivalent to map4.

@Terry@BMS I'm looking to install the WMI kit, I'm curious if I can run 85% to 100% meth in it? I only have access to 92 octane where I'm at.

Hi Terry, I have good daily access to E85 (107 ron) here in Perth, Australia. Can I run this thru the Stinger without a tune or Mods? For example, say I have JB4, fuel wires, plugs, intakes, cat back borla exhaust can run E85 on say map 5 on the weekend and then say map 0 during the week? Will I damage the fuel system?

On the WMI map the additive setting determines peak boost target under full meth flow. The higher the settings the more boost/power but the better your fuel/meth should be.

With E85 access though yes mix in 30%, rest pump, grab a logon map2 or map3, and lets see if timing is maxing out.

Thanks Terry, I dont have your bolt ons yet but plan to in the new year, I think WMI will be the go. Ut not legal
