Has anyone seen any Stingers in the wild?

Not a fan. Looks like the early 80’s.
When I saw them on the car I was immediately turned off...not a good luck for a 50K+ car.

I think that they look good, very bold and retro; one way to get "retro" anyway. :D
3:42 this afternoon Deep Chroma Blue with gold rims parked outside Repco at Lake Haven. Seen plenty of stingers around here but rarely spot a Deep Chroma Blue. The wheels certainly make it stand out. View attachment 52258

The wheels definitely look to be Simmons wheels, the look is unmistakable and the yellow on the centre cap shouts Simmons wheels, not a fan of those wheels on a Stinger, but it is different and it's the owners personal preference.

Yeah I agree, not a fan but I deliberately didn’t post my opinion on them for that reason (to each their own) that being said it’s certainly triggered some responses.

At about 11:20 a.m. I traveled along with a black AWD along Beverly Blvd. from W. Whittier through Pico Rivera, until he turned off at Rosemead. I first noticed him ahead of me on my street as we were waiting to turn onto the boulevard. I've never seen one in my tract in the 3 years I've owned mine. He noticed mine as I passed him; I gave a thumbs up.

My 3rd sighting for the day. 2.26pm a SWP westbound Old Windsor Rd Bella Vista.

Apologies for no photo but I had been out for a blast in the hills with the Stinger and was stopped at a red light in Byford. An orange Stinger GT has pulled up next to me. The driver gave me a nod and then as I watched him pull away I noticed the plates. PUMBAA. So belated hello to you PUMBAA. The orange colour looked great with my wife remarking how good it looked.

8:02am today. NJ Garden State Parkway. Nice AWD. Reminded me I need that large Stinger emblem for mine also.

Hopefully this meets Merlin's sighting verification approval: time, GPS map, and most importantly the stinger all in one pic!

And seeing this one reminded me....I forgot to put the cover on mine yesterday before I left.....and I blew all the leaves off the driveway on Monday. Guess I know what I will be doing this weekend.

What were you driving?

What were you driving?
2020 Subaru Forester. Great work car to put the miles on. AWD, LKA, BSM, Adaptive cruise control like the stinger, BUT the acceleration is horrible. I can give the Forester a three second head start and the stinger would still beat it to 60 mph.

The orange could easily have been Hayden he lives close by.

HCR early this afternoon, southbound on 6400 West just north of Rose Canyon Road. I was joyriding to burn off some stress; and managed to get my car (at that higher elevation) all "slimed" with road salt; which rather compromised my joyride's effectiveness; and required a spray out of the undercarriage (the first time I've done that; it wasn't too bad; and had zero risk of damaging my car, i.e. no "undercarriage pressure blast" in a car wash tunnel).

It seems like yesterday afternoon was "Stinger Day" in Berrima (Southern Highlands, 1hr 45min South West of Sydney). A HCR and then Orange in the same parking area but not at the same time.

Not to mention the 2 x SWP and 1 x Silky Silver visitors lurking just around the corner ;)

About 9.45am Saturday 14 Nov 2020, somewhere near Marrickville. Ceramic Grey, driving in the other direction. Slowed down and waved at me as I realised and honked my horn in approval as we drove pass.

My wife snapped this one when I peeled of the Hume Hwy & onto Narellan Road & we merged in front of him.
Where‘s your shot of the HCR.
