I have seen so few Stingers on the road, so it was a pleasant surprise to see this one! I'll try to keep my skills up, can't say my next sighting will be behind the blinds.
Here's the colors I found online. I assume it has something to do with the flakes in the paint to make it sparkle. I haven't seen a HCR in the sun so don't know how it sparkles or not.
Unfortunately for Americans, that color was never offered in the US. But now it is, and they call it the "Indigo Edition": currently only a limited edition color on 500 vehicles: a fair and growing number of whom are members of this forum. (last year's limited color was Federation Orange; now the 2020 model has it available only on a GT2)
On my way to get a COVID test (negative BTW), a black Stinger passed me on the freeway. Since I was driving my Mitsu, no waves were exchanged. It had dark tinted windows. This was on the 60 Freeway E/B near Chino, Ca. Anyone here?
Saturday afternoon while getting on the southbound Turnpike off I-595, close to Fort Lauderdale, saw a black GT hauling (Mexico speed) on the fast lane. I was in my Optima SX and attempted to catch up to no avail. That is until 1 minute later a FHP screams by, lights and siren blasting and proceeds to catch up with him/her around Hollywood and pull them over. I saw a pair of angry looking Troopers get out of and begin walking to the GT while I drove on by. Was it anyone from here?
Saw one yesterday afternoon, High Chroma Red backed into the end parking spot behind the movie theater. My first two thoughts when I saw it was 1) Another Stinger spotted in the wild! 2) Must get photo for video evidence.
Sadly wife was in the car and figured she would think I am a nut job taking photos of other cars.
White, eastbound on 9000 South at 3400 West late this afternoon: I'm thinking that it's local, because I keep seeing more White Stingers lately than any other color; so, probably the same one several times.
A trio of sightings yesterday.
1. HCR turning onto Seven Hills Rd from Old Windsor Rd
2. Micro Blue westbound on Windsor Rd (no pic)
3. Black turning onto Valerie Avenue from Old Windsor Rd
