Here it is, the facelift.

If you pull up the sticker they both looks like rwd gtlines.

Phew, that makes more sense. Guess the dealer has to fix their ads. Vehicle details on the webpage does say the trim is GT w/V6 AWD. However window stickers do say GT Line w/ 2.0T (not 2.5T).

They just released the update in Korea, no press cars for drives yet or for sale as far as I know. Normally, Korea gets their cars first, we see them months later. As of now, no 2021 inventory exists in the US market, they would need to build and ship them over. This means it would be a November or later release if we were to get them.

I would like the seat to not have the quilting up to the shoulder area, I would prefer the look of those in the G70. If I could get those covers for a reasonable price, I would swap those in.

Not that color though, just used this one as it shows the details better.

I saw the 2020 with the brown interior and it didn't look as bad as one would think. Inside the showroom, it looked black but once you got in it and the lights were on, you noticed it wasn't black. o me this was like a true GT car where you get to spec your own colors. Remind me of when I did a build on the Maserati GranTourismo Convertible, you could choose all the colors you wanted, on just about every place on the car. Steering wheel, dash, door cards, seatback, seat belts, etc.. Except in this case, we didn't get the choice but it still looks good.

Must be a challenging retrofit since the new mirror camera are different so it would screw up the current 360 degree vision. Also most likely need new cluster and maybe even the new head-unit / screen since they interract with the camera!

Agreed, also to point out I remember reading the refresh Stinger has a bigger/better gauge cluster screen and head unit. Those by far will be the hardest new features to swap if it’s even possible.

That looks exactly like the gauge cluster in my GT2

From what I have read they updated the monochrome 3.5” to 4.2” color but the 7” on the GT2 is the same (at least the size is the same but may there be different hardware behind)

the fake hood scoops are missing from the 2.5T test drive vehicles!

Another addition I noticed is the one touch rear windows from the driver’s side and rear seats.

Funny how our 2021 facelift (buttlift?) was so subtle yet divisive, while Genesis did a huge revamp of the G70.

I think that's because Genesis played it super safe with the G70 to the point where visually it was quite boring and unremarkable. The only thing that stood out was the boomerang they slapped on the side, which personally I thought was ugly and almost felt like a last minute addition after realizing how plain the whole car looked.

Looking at the new G70, it looks way better imo. The lights not only look great, but more importantly it gives it such a unique identity and helps it stand out. It's definitely one I'll strongly be considering, and it's very exciting because I wanted to like the G70 but hated the boomerang.

On the other hand it seemed that everyone loved the rear of the Stinger, so while some people may find the new one to be an improvement, it's to be expected that many others will think it's a downgrade. I'm still doing my best to try to get it to grow on me.
