What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

I normally go to the Johns creek one. But I went to the newer Windward/Alpharetta one since it’s closer.

I’m more pissed they didn’t tell me. It’s not the end of the world. I’ll cover it with paint. But when I showed the manager, the first thing he said “are you sure it wasn’t there before...”. What an ass hat. My car is pristine. I know every flaw. Is it possible it happened in the 7 mile drive from my house to the store.... sure. But incredibly unlikely. I’m pointing it out (not demanding repair) to highlight incompetence. Don’t treat me like a moron. Whoever did the work sure as shit knew they did it when it happened. In Houston, they fully mangled some 20” enkei’s I had too. They scratched them up so bad they replaced 2.

I’ll just have to go to a performance shop from now on (even for basic tire mounting/balancing).

Lame.

That sucks. I would definitely try to have them replace/repair the damage. Ever since I had the Athens Kia dealership totally botch my oil change, I am weary about taking my car in for service anywhere. I still need new rear tires, so I’ll mark them off the list.

The diamond shaped portholes, the quad pipes, the delicate pin-striping .... striking! Seriously though, I'd have to run a black light over that interior before I'd ever test drive it.

I didn't do anything to the car today, but I did find out it has an electric vacuum pump for the brakes. Had no idea! I got a 3 day KDS subscription to try out a J2534 tool I bought (which did not work..) so I was digging through the service and found that out. Interesting.

I also pulled the VIN report and found that my car was born on 4/12/2019 exactly.

Installed a catch can with a custom mount and it went really well... Until I dropped one of the OEM hose clips and I can't find it. Anyone have any thoughts on retrieving it?? I think it dropped right behind where the new hose connects (red arrow in pics).

Had my rear chrome window pillers replaced with a new pair due to oxidation and dullness alittle after a year of ownership. Dealership had no issue replacing under warranty. $0 OOP and a fourty minute wait. Can't complain!

Installed a pair of red DC Sports strut braces to add a splash of color. In doing so, discovered that the rearmost bolt on the passenger side brace was rather loose.
