Yesterday went to just LOOK at a federation orange gt2. Wellllllllllllllllll we drove away with it.
My 2019 Rav4 is being lemon lawed back to Toyota. I was going to wait for the 2021 crossovers to arrive. But after not driving the Rav, it is sitting waiting for pick up, don't want to damage it now, I got in it and sort of said why do we need a vehicle this big? The Rav is a neat car, great tech etc.
So dear hubby said lets look a sedans with some power. My key desire was ventilated seats and the good safety tech. So I searched for cars with ventilated seats............... Started the search a few weeks back, then hubby said look at the stinger! My comment was what the heck is a stinger, never even looked at kia's. So started research on the stinger, it is rated high and well against a lot of other sedans. And it has ventilated seats! Also looked at the genesis (but prefer the trunk size with the stinger)
Next step got to drive one, no clue on the car, how it drives, feels, etc. We make a appointment to go and see a loaded gt2, took a test drive. BTW going over I told hubby we ARE NOT BUYING TODAY! I was going to wait for the 2021 stinger, but why with the discount being offered.
He drove the car off the lot then I took over! What a darn sweet drive! I had a mazda rx7 back in the day, loved that car.
100f outside, miserable, ventilated seats cooled me right off! Put in sport mode and the seat grabs you, then found out when you turn it off the seat and steering wheel move back and out of your way. Mirrors fold back, neat little remote start fob.
Well darn I was sold on it, so we bought! Probably not as good a deal as what I saw on some of the forum chat, but we are happy. Also got the protection plan (bumper to bumper 100000 miles or 10 years.
Salesman gave it to us at cost. Good idea? who knows? but we are fine with the expense.
My hubby has 5 camaro's one is a 2013 ss, corvettes one is the 50 yr anniversary car, firebirds, etc (not all tagged he collects cars, not high dollar ones except the ss and corvette.)
I was driving my 06 prius and the rav4. The prius is our bee wagon, carries honey and bee supplies beautifully.
Now my drive is the stinger! Going from 42 mpg to 17-23 mpg, the prius gets 50mpg even as old as it is. We are retired so no need to worry about gas mileage, don't put that many miles on the cars.
