I bought the WindBooster Bluetooth model without the screen. It arrived last week, below are my impressions of it.
It does remove some of the buildup when pressing the gas, example, without the device, you press the gas, there's a 1/4 second or so delay, you can see this in the tach, then the needle starts moving, and it ramps up to where you want it to be with relation to the pedal. With the device, and in S2, the lag is cut down to about 1/8 second, and there's no buildup, the needle immediately goes to where you want it to be with relation to the pedal.
The lag can be cut further by changing the mode, but as you set the device to be more aggressive, you lose a lot of granularity within the pedal. I don't care for making the pedal more aggressive, I just want to get rid of the lag and the ramp up. I'm a bit disappointed that you can't get rid of the lag without making the pedal feel as if it's either on or off, and nothing in between.
I will keep the device, as it makes Eco feel like Sport mode, pedal wise at least.
After installing the device, I am noticing how lazy the transmission is in anything but sport mode, and even in sport mode, it sometimes gets confused.
