Anyone using BMS Pedal Tuner ?

yep, it’s snake oil. If you want to go faster and have better “pedal feel” push the peddle down. ‍Have us Americans become so lazy that we need a device to push the pedal down and extra inch for us? smh

I used to agree with you, I'd tell customers to just wear heavier shoes. But drove around with ours a lot during development and realized it's actually pretty fun. It's really not for everyone but I understand why people like them. It's just an expansion of the comfort/sport buttons every vehicle has now.

Some of y’all are woefully misinformed about what throttle response controllers do. As stated earlier, it is a bit more complex than just being a device that replaces a heavier foot.
What’s to be misinformed? All these things do is mind F’s you into thinking your car is faster than it really is by opening up the throttle blade in a greater proportion than the amount of pedal depressed by your foot. So you press down 10% and the device opens the throttle blades 50% or whatever it’s programmed to do. So your mind is thinking 10% and you are actually getting 50%. Aka a mind trick. Save your money for a real hp mod.

Think you are ignoring the main advantage of a throttle controller. Like you said, it can replace a certain throttle percentage with whatever you set the mode to (eg. 10% -> 30%) but the other part is it bypasses the ECU ramping the throttle up. For example, normally if you depress the throttle to 30%, it gradually ramps up from 0->10->20->30%, but the controller instantly changes it from 0-30%. It doesn't add HP but it certainly is a little quicker off the line.

Nope.I know how to put my foot down and get the car moving.
It's not that simple, it intercepts the signal being sent to the ECU and amplifies it, making the computer receive the signal faster and removing the weird delay the pedal has.

You can certainly use the kickdown function to get it to downshift, but there's a lot of unnecessary travel that these chips remove so you can get the same affect but earlier. Unless you have one you can't compare.

If you find the pedal fine, that good for you. Many of us have found a drastic difference in how the car reacts after installing one. I no longer have to use paddle shifters in sport mode to upshift; I use a custom drive mode with comfort engine mode but the rest sport and it's the best of both worlds with the sensitivity and upshifting when cruising.

That's the exact setup I'm using in custom mode with the pedal tuner on amber and I love it. The car felt very laggy before unless it was in sport mode but I dont want to run sport mode all the time because it holds revs too high.

For the cost of this you're not going to find any performance product that's going to give you much for gains, were talking under 200usd...

Agreed , i have the Sprint booster it is more than just a light pedal. You have the ability now to "feather" the pedal giving you more instantaneous control. Best mod ive done. And you dial up the feel you that suits you. Far exceeded my expectations. It also has pedal lock and valet mode.

To each his, or her, own. I’ve got one on the 2.0 now and the difference and pleasure of driving the car are real and dramatic. If you don’t “like” it that’s fine also, but not worth arguing about. Just keep drivin’.

My man, some of us are as fast as it gets right now. Let us enjoy the little extra giggles in peace.

And while I haven’t used I’m the BMS Throttle response controller, I few buddies of mine have it. And they’re full of the same giggles I get.

Yep over 600 rwhp. I only put parts on that and the Stinger that make it go fast and leave the gimmick parts to the simple minded people. Oh burn.

ok bud. thanks for your amazing input - definitely helped the community.

Funny how everyone who bought "this gimmick" isn't returning it nor selling it ... weird, they must all be "simple minded"

Lol. You’re fun. But anywho, some of us are pretty much as fast we can get given what’s out there. This adds extra fun.

Ford....are you in on the trans lawsuit for the new gt’s?Ford still can’t build a good mustang som 60 years later. Hell I’ve owned 20 of them...took me 47!years to shake the stupid out of me lol.
Windbooster is ridiculous fun in Stop and go driving...it’s really entertaining when dialed up...sometimes in the real world you just want to have a little more entertainment driving when you’re not able to pull a 1320 on Drag radials.

Whats the build quality of the Windbooster? The price with the discount in effect is very attractive but I'm wary of connecting something from a Chinese company I'm not familiar with to my accelerator. Are they reputable? If this thing malfunctions is there a fail safe to keep you from accelerating into orbit?

I’ve ran mine for some time now. No issues. I know two dozen others who have had no issues. If it fails, it wouldn’t just accelerate the car. The tech does not work that way. I’m worse case scenario would be you losing throttle response, in the event of failure, but I haven’t yet heard of any failures. As for it being Chinese made, most of these types of devices are made in China. And that’s not a bad thing. This discount is happening because they are selling tons of them lately in the US, and they seek to take the US to tmarket completely.
