Personally I’d wait for the refresh reveal to make a decision, unless you really need a new car or find a deal too good to pass up.

The exhaust alone won't be worth it, as you can easily get an aftermarket one for less, plus the savings on the 2020 would leave you with lots of cash in pocket for other things. (after buying and having the exhaust installed) The larger screen is a different matter.

I was about to pull the trigger on a 2020 GT2 back in April and negotiated close to 26% off MSRP with dealer discount + lease cash and incentives but with the 2021 refresh rumors I decided to wait.

What I based that decision on:
1) I’m planning on keeping the vehicle for at least 10 years and I don’t want it to feel old or not as good after 1 year of ownership.
2) I’m buying brand new regardless, if the deals on the left over 2020s are too good to pass up then I’d be glad I waited.

The only thing I worry about is if KMF changes the lease buy out jig. I don’t know the odds of this happening but it’s a possibility and I’m rolling the dice on it.

If you like the 2020 as-is, and you don't want to wait, then get the current model. The future is unwritten. Waiting to see what comes out later is a feckless quest after satisfaction.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I saw a local dealer with huge discount on a '19 gt2 - like $39K after discounts.. So look around - you might get a great deal on an essentially-new car..

Personal opinion, if what I'm seeing as far as wheels and both front and rear lights remains for the facelift, I am VERY happy I have a 2019 and absolutely would not consider a 2021.
The few good changes are not outweighed by the stuff I'm not liking.

If I were you I'd personally wait to at least see what exactly the 2021 is shaping up like unless you need a car now.

Got a quote today in NJ of $49,500 out the door on a 2020 GT2. Told them based on research $42k out the door is possible. They asked that I buy them 3 or 4 so they can resell them. Still nobody discounting the car beyond the $3,500 and $1,500 trade offer. Would love to see anyone who has a sales sheet anywhere near 42k out the door so I can show proof that it’s possible.
Thanks in advance.

If the refresh spy shots come out soon, when would the car actually come out, towards the end of this year or next year altogether? I'm in need of a car due to crashing my DD. I feel that once the refresh is available, it'll allow me to get a better deal on a gt1 or perhaps a gt2 even because they wanna clear out the 2019-2020 to make room for the 2021. But I'd have to do a deal before I have to put up my Ford ⚡ for the winter.

I don't think you will see better deals than you are seeing now - end of year clearance will limit the colour and models to what is left as well. keep shopping around

I have contacted over a dozen Kia dealers. Even used costco program. Costco dealer said it’s 5 cents lower than the invoice price and said he would call me back next day. Nothing. Apparently the slight one month increase in sales has made Kia believe the car is in high demand. However, year over year sales keep shrinking. Go figure. Some Costco dealers don’t even have stingers. I had Costco give me all the dealers within 90 miles of my house. Only 3, in the NY Metro area???

I would cast a wider net, have a read through the forums and call the dealers who cut good deals

I feel like in my area, the colors/models are already limited. I've had my eye on these cars for awhile, the whole time I saw the orange GTS models, various gt1, gt2 in blue, red, ceramic silver. Now, that I actually need a car, the color I want there is one car of, a used 2019 GT2 in ceramic silver/red interior with 17k already, with a ton of scratches on the rear bumper, faded black trim on the roof and they STILL have the nerve to be asking 39,988. I can only find 39 cars within a 200 mile radius. Most being gt line, gt or gt2. Not many gt1s around......

The "Covid" deals in Canada make it hard to wait for the 2021s. I just purchased in late June, Based on what I've seen on the forums I got US pricing on a Canadian car. (Our dollar is trash in comparison)
That being Said the rumors of more power (400hp) and the possibility a full manual might change some minds.

I would look into hiring a broker it's not that expensive and they will find the deal for you

I think you are suffering from ‘Fear Of Better Options’ - if you like the 2020 then go for it.

Ask and you shall receive. Please see attached pic of my deal. $39,420 (out-the-door) for a 2020 GT2 AWD. Original MSRP is $54,140. I'm doing the 24-month lease buy-out trick. Here in Missouri, we pay taxes at the DMV when we title our vehicles.
