2020 gt2 or 2021 gt2

So do gt, gt1, gt2 have remote start or not? I plan on looking at an awd gt this weekend and the salesman said he was sitting in a gt2 and he said none of them have remote start but it could be added through them. This is head scratching to me. A 30-50k car doesn't have remote start? Maybe he just had no clue about what he's talking about?

i don’t believe remote start is currently offered in the US through the UVO ap. I have seen window stickers that have remote start listed for something like $400 bucks. It’s sad but true. Even the UVO expert who hooked mine up was a bit surprised the Stinger didn’t have it. Then he said, “Oh it’s a 2019” maybe that’s why??? I agree for my GT2 sticker of $54 it should be a no brainer. Not sure what Kia’s reasoning is. But it’s terrible. Don’t even know if the Stingers have a built in modem to be able to do it for the US versions. Much smarter people on the forum who could probably answer that.

Mine came with remote start, a tiny key fob. 2020 gt2 $495 on the window sticker. I can't get the UVO to work, loaded on phone and the car acts like my phone is not connected. Had to use the back usb port, the front is not working. So first trip to the dealer when I get around to it.

I am attempting to set up the UVO app, no luck so far. The usb port is not working in the front, but working in the back. Per what the app does there is remote start etc, depending on how much you pay. Different levels of service. From what I am reading.
