What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

How much was it if you done mind me asking and repaint the whole trunk and bumper?

I'm not sure if they repainted or blended everything but I know they had to remove both the front and rear section and used sheet metal for a professional fill that shows zero printing. Took about 14hrs and because I paid in cash it ended up being around $1100 or else it would have been closer to $1300.

If we're talking about the same thing, I peeled off the "rubber strips" Here's what is under them

I asked my shop if they could wrap this area if I wanted to go back to black. They said they could.
You must be confusing the packing "black" plastic that sometimes does not get noticed and removed during car prep. For about a month I had that on the top dark chrome above my right windows.

What I am talking about (elsewhere, and in response to @NIU_Huskies) are the narrow rubber edge strips along both sides of both drip rails.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Took the Stinger on a round-trip with 15 cars to the only proper race track in Estonia, not a slouch as completely stock compared to the other cars with us in terms of track performance but.... each time I go out with the boys I really do understand how badly I want a proper exhaust on it.

Kia Performance Parts check them out, UK based site. Catalogue currently only shows sway bars for RWD but e-mail them. UK based also means no import tax for us.
If you find the german store you are thinking of, let me know too, would be interesting to see what they have in stock.

MLPerformance is the only eu based site I've found that carries things like JB4 etc for Stinger, so if I ever pull the plug on performance items I'll try and get as many as possible from there.

It seems they dont have the str8 sway bars ive seen others use. Also, theur jb4 price didn't differ much from the rebated package from sal.

Custom made?
Yes. Got them from Rakker today. He is a member in this forum who makes them. I just simply add a modding to it to make it looks better. He did a real good job making them. They fit perfectly.

New shiny what's this?
IMG_20200509_182638.webpSo clean, so shiny, so.... virgin. Also everyone is right about the studs being a pain. I should have known...... I didn't and I paid the price. Dealer bent me over at $25 a piece. I only needed 2, managed to salvage the other ones with a die and tap set. Had to get non OEM nuts but I don't think it's going anywhere.

What was the turbo's problem for you to have to replace it? Is this an OEM turbo or a bigger one?
