What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

I am considering the Mishimoto, but it annoys me that they can't figure out how to offer it in different colours ... after all it's the hoses and brackets that are model specific, not the can as far as I can tell.... SHM

Consider having them Cerakoted or Powdercoated and then you get to choose the exact color you want, plus its unique to your car.

Took it in for first oil change at 4218 miles.

Had to drop it in the AM for the day, but they called and had it done in about an hour. . .

Just hoping to get it back intact, as I have read too many accounts of scraped rims and such (took photos of all four wheels before taking it in).

Looking on wrapping the car and looking for someone to plastidip or similar to match the intended wrap.

turning 40 next week, might aswell "splurge" on my self and spend that $3200-ish on wrapping and fixing the wheels up to match.. right?! RIGHT?!

Im thinking a totally anonymous car except hubcaps with the E might make the car mor mysterious.. but will it look good without anything but eh caps?

I would do the "E" front badge, and big stinger script or "E" rear badge if you are going for mystery... or really mess with people and have your own made... or pop a SAAB badge on

I would ask the company to fill the 2 holes in the back. IIRC its "only" 2 holes under the back kia emblem, right?

Eitherway eblems on or not, im going to ask to fill the holes to make the vinyl better looking.

Nice! I like the narrow wrap, out to the drip rails. How did you wrap those? It has recently come to our attention that the little rubber strips on either side are not "wrappable". So, I and others are wondering how the installer handles those?

Those rubber strips....peel them off and wrap the metal trim strip underneath.

If we're talking about the same thing, I peeled off the "rubber strips" Here's what is under them




I asked my shop if they could wrap this area if I wanted to go back to black. They said they could.

So rear badge change today... Why is there an indent in the paint for the badge??? Why Kia just why? The holes I could have covered with the stinger script but I can't cover the outline...

Installed the front set of Tuxmats. The rear set was packed a bit goofy and has some odd bends in it. I'll need to let it sit in the sun a couple hours before putting it in. Fronts fit great though. Well worth it.

That's what I ended up doing because I prefer that clean look. Paired with a CF hood and trunk deck/spoiler will look pretty bad ass imho.
