Group Buy - ISG (Idle Stop and Go)/Auto Hold, Proximity Lock/Unlock, Heat/Cool setting memory module

That Smart ISG & Hold module looks like it could be a pain to install, does anyone know how to get to those extra wires? Looks like it involves fishing some wires to the pedals from the center console, and taking apart stuff around the steering wheel.

If anyone wants to try it, I'm sure shark racing will special order it, they are friendly to work with.

I'll email them and see about the Smart ISG (Idle Stop and Go) & Hold module and SVM

I spent some time playing with the Proximity Module. I believe switch 1 being on changes what button on the fob turns the prox locks off and on, which isn't very useful. The default of 3x trunk works better than 3x lock. I don't think switch 2 does anything. Attached is an non-translated manual I found.

Are the manuals you fine always images of the text? Guessing you have tried Google Translate already?

Yeah, the Korean sites I find seem to have the text as images. Google Lens on Android does an OK job of OCR-ing the text and translating it, but I still lose a lot of context.

Need to find someone that can read Korean I guess, I'll ask around I might know someone.

Just to be clear, the LKA module simply tricks the car into believing your hands are always on the wheel, thereby eliminating the "Keep hands on wheel" message/beep and preventing LKA from timing out?

Does it do anything with the triple-beep for veering too close to the lane marker? (I don't want it to eliminate that.)

I ALWAYS keep at least one hand on the wheel, but on long straightaways it often thinks I don't and will ping me with the message seemingly every few seconds sometimes. This module is very tempting. I'm hoping @Swap_File will provide some more details on the installation so I can decide if I want to tackle it. :D

Praise sweet little baby jesus.....i was just notified that my package was delivered!!! 41 Days in Transit. Now.....I just have to make the drive into the office. :sneaky::thumbup:

Here is the full LKAS manual, from what I can tell, 1 beep means the LKAS module is on and will beep at you, 2 beeps deactivates the module, 3 beeps means the module is on and in silent mode. Switch 1 controls what button on the steering wheel switches between modes, switch 2 controls if silent mode is in the normal mode rotation or if you have to press and hold for 5 seconds to get into it. I'll take some notes on my next drive test.

When cruise is off, pressing the distance button on the steering wheel:
short press -> 1 beep, enable module in warning mode (Will warn/beep about hands not on the wheel, but keep LKAS)
short press again -> 2 beeps, disables module (Factory setting)
long press (5 sec) -> 3 beeps, enables module in silent mode (Disable warning and keep LKAS)

Dip Switches:
1 - off: use distance control button for enable/disable(equipped with scc), On: use cancel button(without scc)
2 - off: 5 sec press for silent mode, on: short press for silent mode

Does it remember or do you do this every time you start the car?

If you email Shark Racing they will special order you one. They can also get you the SVM (Surround View Monitor) / AVM module. I can confirm they both work with the Stinger. The modules will not be the plug and play version, but it's not a difficult install.

quite interested in this module... didn't even know it existed !
how was the install ?
what price was it ? did you get more module with this one ?

The SVM and LKAS module install at the same place, very easy to get to, no tools are needed. You just pop the plastic off around the rear view mirror.

To install the LKAS module you need to cut the CAN wires. The AVM module installs at the same place on the "Car" side of the cut wires.

I'd talk to Shark Racing about pricing, combined item price and shipping is unique to every order.

Note: Remember how by default the Stinger stereo volume lowers when the camera turns on? That will happen when the AVM module turns the camera on too, unless you change the setting. Make sure to turn that option off in your car's sound setup or it will get annoying.

I am going to email them, thanks @Swap_File !

could you make us a little video to show it works in the end , super curious !

I got a reply today they don't seem to know what the Smart ISG is and how it's different from what they sent. Also they call the SVM, AVM

Try sending them a link to this post about the Smart ISG/Hold module, and ask if they can import it for you:
스팅어 차량에 스마트 통합모듈 장착(스마트 오토홀드 및 ISG OFF 메모리, SCC 자동 재출발, 후깜, 땡큐, 급깜 등등)

Maybe the installation looks worse than it is, but that looks like a lot of panels being removed...

It also looks like a very new module, I think it came out in January of this year, so it might be harder to find.

Here are some Korean videos from a Genesis & a Stinger:

Cycling Camera with Cruise Adjust buttons (you can do this as long as cruise isn't on):
(Cancel will stop the video, I think it also stops after 20 seconds?)

Blind Spot Warning Triggering the Camera:

Split Screen Turn Signal Video:

I sent him what it does, he replied said he forgot about that one but can get that one and the AVM aka SVM so I'm going to order those as well that way when I do install it all I can do them all at once while I have things taken apart.

Thanks for all the good information, all of these features are pretty nice and I wish Kia would of included them or given an option to add them.
