Has anyone seen any Stingers in the wild?

But then again, I once spotted like 7 Stingers in about 6 days in my area, so I wouldn't be surprised if I don't see another McLaren for the rest of this year.
I don't think I have ever seen a McLaren in the flesh. Several Lambo Urus's, that's about it.

5:30pm yesterday a neon orange heading north on the Pacific Highway at Narara, while I was on the way to work, then about 6:45am this morning a high chroma red headed south on the M1 Motorway at Alison while I was on my way home from work.

Zero Stingers for days now on the way to and from work, obviously isolating. Hey Coast up your way as we both proved is ground central for stinger sightings world wide.

It goes through phases. I can go weeks sometimes months and not see one then all of a sudden I get a few in a row. I don’t always put the one off sighting on here unless there’s something a bit different about it, like the orange one I saw the other day or the random yellow one, as they’re both a bit rare compared to the other colours.

Hey Vancouver Stinger Owners !! I saw a Snow White Pearl GT coming up Mount Seymour Parkway 2 days ago and a Grey GT leaving Whistler yesterday , both drivers flashed !!

Down here, the cops have been pleading for people not to do that; they are tending to go out to get their mail without being fully dressed, usually no pants on. :D

We'll it's official...I'm no longer the only Stinger owner in the neighborhood :cautious:. I've seen the same Snow white parked on the street in the same area twice..Texas plates. I would've taken a picture but both times I was with the wife and she would not let me live it down if I stopped to take a pic of another Stinger. She already thinks I have an unnatural relationship with mine . Stingers around here are rare but I think the G70 is wayyyyy rarer. I've only seen two 3.3Ts in the year I've had the Stinger and I look for them. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE my HCR and have ZERO regrets, but if Genesis would've negotiated with me a little bit when they first came out, I'd probably be on the G70 website right now. That Siberian Ice with the red stitched black leather...whew goooood lookin. Not as head turning/good looking as the Stinger but classier for sure.

see, I think I am the only one who thinks the g70 looks somewhat generic. there isn't anything inherently wrong with the design, it just looks like it borrowed the best styling cues and merged them into one. and it is not an ugly car, but it just looks generic. stinger from certain angles will look like a Porsche or a Maserati, it isn't a common sight to see another one everyday whilst the g70 might be mistaken for a bmw or a lexus. just my two cents. I am biased of course

^^^I've sometimes mistaken the G70 to the G80, as they share many of the same styling cues. The G70 certainly is a nice-looking sedan, but I do agree it looks relatively generic, sort of like how the BMW/Audi/Mercedes sedans are of late. The Stinger is certainly distinct, and nearly a year later, I'm still getting looks and questions (even during this pandemic) from random people on what it is.

Yeah Stingers the better looking car for sure. I'd go out on a limb and say there are verrry few times the Stinger is not the center of attention at stop lights, parking lots, gas stations or flying down the highway. It's a neck breaker. I saw a Victoria black G70 3.3T completely blacked out and it was gorgeous! Snapped my neck for sure  The G70s interior is nicer in my opinion...a bit more refined. Both great cars...can't go wrong with either.

For the first time, i got to see a black stinger IRL. meh, There are better colours.

Micro Blue on Old Cleveland Rd at Capalaba about 3PM this arvo. We exchanged waves and smiles before his light turned green and he showed those alongside him a clean pair of heels. Dash cam video attached (hopefully).

Nice exhaust note too.

This has to be my record time without a Stinger siting , over a week its unnatural . Feel like im in a different dimension , the roads are so empty ive been getting to work far to early and thats crawling here. Even got pulled over by the boys in Blue a couple of weeks at 4.45am . Reckon they just wanted to ogle my Stinger. Only got a warning, i can't tell you my speed otherwise you'll disown me. Nice guys always helps to be super courtesy to. Said there was a rise in "Domestics" lately i can imagine why.

14:30 yesterday, Snow White Pearl on Minnesota Rd Hamlyn Terrace, the sour old bag driving didn’t acknowledge me when I waved, I actually think I’ve seen this one before.
17:30 yesterday High Chroma Red on the Pacific Hwy Narara while I was on my way to work.
06:05 this morning on my way home from work a different High Chroma Red on Mann Street Gosford which I followed into the drive thru of Wyoming McDonalds. From the sound of it at idle I’d say he had the bimodal fitted.

Shouldn't be allowed to drive/own a SWP.

"Sour old bags" need the love of driving too. Stinger is probably just the medicine she needs; and open roads during the insanity.
