I've read those pads are pretty loud and squeal alot, any truth to that? Price is very good though.Yes, the ASP1001.

My mistake, I thought you had gotten the ASP1001 but it was another member. I quoted the wrong person.I got the centric ceramic...

Installed the Akebono asp1001 pads and had the rotors resurfaced. The fit is very good but they lack the counter weights. Not installed yet...I have a few k left on the stock ones.
Possibly...Sounds like you need some new rotors and Girodisc Magic pads
Did you intall the Giro disc pads yet? I'm about to get a set but am sceptical if they will keep the rotors from pulsing like the stock or Akebono pads do?I have a set of Girodisc pads I have not installed yet. I looked at the Girodisc site and they are the same part number that is listed for Evo, Mustangs and Camaros. This would tend to make me believe this caliper is used on several cars and hence the pads work on our car too, same caliper.

Breaks felt like new at first but I start to feel the pulsing coming back, ever so slightly, after they have warmed up. The pads don't create dust which means they don't scrub the rotor enough, hence the buildup that creates the pulsing. Looking for semi-metallics next but will give these a little more time and will report back. Running Posi Quiets in the rear...no issues with them yet.
Did you perform a bedding process with the Akebonos?Update: After a few hundred more miles yesterday the Akebonos are starting to leave deposits on the rotors and they are pulsing again, just like the stock pads do. The posi quiets in the rear are starting to squeak but I'm fine with that as long as they stay smooth.
Giro Disk pads it is...
I'll report back.
