Group Buy - ISG (Idle Stop and Go)/Auto Hold, Proximity Lock/Unlock, Heat/Cool setting memory module

Proximity Installation Guide

It is highly recommended to remove the negative terminal from your battery before you start.

1. Follow steps 5-7 from this link to remove the cowl trim(Right of dead pedal)
2. Follow steps in this link to remove lower crash pad(Fuse Box Area)
2a. if you do not want to remove this panel, order micro2 add-a-circuit(I bought one from local auto parts store) & 18-22awg ring terminal.

3. Tab into power and ground according to installation doc. Power should be gray wire, ground should be black.

3a. If you opted to go with option 2a, remove a constant 12v fuse(Power Lock fuse) and tap in. Use the ring terminal on ground wire to ground it to frame screw.

4. Refer to your install doc to locate blue MF11 connector. Remove the black cover to gain access to wires. Red wire from module connects to the top and blue wire on the bottom.

5. Reconnect the negative on the battery.
6. There should be 2 led's lit on the module. Test functionality.
7. Install trim back in reverse order and done!

Make sure your "Welcome" setting is enabled in dash for this to function properly.

For Proximity Module:
Note from the troubleshooting guide,
Do not leave your fob in the car and close the doors. If the car does not detect the fob, it will lock the doors in 10 seconds.

To disable the module, press the trunk button(fob) 3~4x within 2 seconds.
If the mirrors unfold and door unlocks, it is disabled. To re-enable, repeat the key press and mirrors will fold and door will lock.

Quick review of the Proximity Module.
I finally had a chance to install it today. Install was done in less than 30 minutes. Module works as advertised. I really like this module. ISG module is just added functionality but this one adds cool factor. However, module only locks/unlocks driver side door for me. I was told otherwise by SR. Now that I think about it, I wonder if there is a setting to configure the unlock press sequence with our key fobs (1x press unlock driver side to all doors). Something to look into I guess. For now, driver side only is fine by me.
One quirk I noticed was when the door unlocks with the module, pressing the physical unlock button(to unlock rest of the doors) inside the door will lock all doors. You have to press the unlock one more time to unlock all doors. I forgot to test key fob buttons or smart buttons from outside, so I am not sure how that will work with unlocking the rest of the doors. This quirk will be easily remedied if the fob settings can be configured I think.

Overall, I am really impress with this module and think this function should have been an OEM feature. It is worth every penny.

EDIT: Confirmed by @stargtsi, you can change the setting in the menu to unlock all doors. That will solve the issue stated above.

Got my heating and cooling module installed today. Works exactly as expected. Wiring was a bit of pain as there are 7 wires to hook up in the same harness.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Side note from SR: There maybe a module coming for Drive Mode.

I'd be interested in that too. Might be handy to keep an eye on when they become available in Korea:
Google Translate

Some of the other modules look interesting, but who knows if they work on American stingers.

Most, if not all, should work with USDM stingers. The 3 modules are confirmed to be working. The other modules not sold by SR, the LKAS and Around view, I've seen it sold elsewhere but didn't see the need to buy it personally. Everything looks the same for US stingers on the install diagram. I haven't heard anything on Drive Mode yet, nor have I seen anything on KDM market yet. There was someone on facebook diy'd a circuit board that simulated switching to "sport" on start up.

Do you happen to know where can they be found domestically? The poorly translated LKAS module description interests me, and I'm also curious what the "Smart" auto hold module does.

Any idea if there will be more GB @jellyman ?

Or do you know which Korean reseller he is using ?

Domestic as in US? I haven't found any. As for Smart module according to seller:
1. Auto Hold / ISG memory
2. Turn off Auto Hold on reverse, Resume Auto Hold upon "D" or "P"
3. Hazard light on at reverse
4. When cruise is off, Cancel button will turn on hazard light 3x (courtesy feature)
5. Using Smart Cruise, car will move forward when car ahead moves.
Sorry for the rough translation. LKAS module allows you to keep your hands off the steering wheel without disabling LKAS.

I do not have any plans to do any more GB on the modules unless there are new modules that interests me. :) Feel free to contact SR directly, they are proficient in English. You might be a better negotiator than me.

As for resellers, I am not sure. I've found few Korean shopping sites that sell the modules but most do not ship internationally or shipping cost combined did not come out better than SR.

Sigh...

I'm still waiting for my delivery. Though, the tracking record appears to no longer show created 1/1/1900. It now says "Acceptance - Your item was accepted at 5:18 pm on March 19, 2020 in KOREA REPUBLIC OF". Unfortunately, I had it shipped to work and now I don't go in. I'll have to take a trip there every week until this gets updated. Hoping it shows up one of these days.

Weren't we waiting on the driving mode module ?

Sorry to hear that. At least it's an improvement over 1/1/1900. I think you are the last person that have not received it yet.

If BMS can pull this off, I would much prefer this method.

where did you purchase from ?

Got it through this thread as part of the GB, I was a very late addition to it, lol.

Yeah. I think I am too. I just want it already, I have all this free time on my hands! LoL. I'll take a ride to the office again this Friday. Fingers crossed....

Thanks for the translation on the smart module, kinda neat, but nothing really important to me. I've learned to lightly use the brake when stopping (in R or D) to prevent engaging the auto brake, I generally don't flash my hazards unless really needed, and I don't mind lightly pressing the gas to get going again during stop and go traffic.

The LKAS module sounds more useful to me, I do road trips and LKAS likes to complain during long straightaways that my hands are not on the wheel (when they are). And a beep when LKAS turns off would be nice.

Drive mode (which unfortunately doesn't exist yet) would interest me the most, followed by LKAS and maybe the SVM.

Is this website even real? (I'm kidding... I think)

I ordered my proximity door lock module 23 days ago, and it's still "awaiting fulfillment." They told my I'd have it this week, but it still hasn't shipped. And my credit card was charged the day I ordered...
