PRESSERtech Kia Stinger GT Dyno RESULTS!!

The chip is dumb and just adds 5 or so PSI so now with both together you are getting 23 or so PSI, on a warmer day add 2 more PSI and you are going to have knock, run out of fuel, over boost limp mode or all 3.

Also the last 1/4 of your run where the power falls off for shift and stays off looks not good.

Maybe the presser tech tune is really stock since they couldnt fix his issues? Thats about a normal RC time.

I already have appointment booked with Classified Motorsports for Tuesday morning to check out the NGK 2 degree colder plugs to see how they are burning and ,,get the hoses and, catch cans checked, To be honest it is not like it has any more Power than when I used the chip before the only difference I noticed Is that it does not go into limp mode again !

dude you are massively playing with fire do you want a blown motor because this is how you get a blown motor adding 5 PSI blindly on top of a tune means that a partial throttle you're going to get a s*** ton of boost and the car is going to knock its ass off so even if you happen to get the car happy using water methanol colder and plugs race gas whatever you're going to have partial throttle issues that could cost you your engine Don't do this.

If you want to add some more boost on top to tune pony up buy a juice box

and the fact that you're blindly adding boost with no data logs or anything to back it up dude you are going to screw up your car Yes this ECU is smart Yes this ECU will protect itself but it can only go so far

I will say there are not many people that have done more launches with these Stingers OMG , so the only thing I can say is that the Pressertech tune was indeed mind perhaps less that Torks Stage 1 ,, I have been also told that the Stingers have a Approx 11 psi Boost ,, that in its self of course makes slow performance along with crappy gas ,, I got the limp mode thing sorted out finally ! So now if I want to just run on a 91 tune just remove the Race Chip , that being said I most always run a 93 Octane value !

What I use to gauge the boost is how it pulls and , the time I get from doing that pull and, I am very sure that the total Boost by the number s clocked ,I am not running much more than 18 or 19 psi :) before without the ECU tune and Just performance chip I was having lots problems, come to find it was all about the Gas I was using and after the advice I got from Classified Motorsports tuner and changed to Shell V POWER and within 2 days things were trouble free :) 15E2AF06-BBEF-40E6-B2B4-35671E89E76E.webp

My plugs are 140 degrees colder than my stock plugs and very very expensive plugs 360.00 , I do what I can to protect my engine and I ran with supercharged cars , I make sure to have enough Octane to cover that day of fun lol

Happy Easter everyone:) keep it safe !

And please no one else try to stack a full piggy back tune on top of a full ecu tune.

Everything about this makes me never want a pressertech tune...

I believe Pressertech has a 93 octane tune for their stage 2 , i the shop here just got me the 91 tune :)

Well the only 2 people who are active on this thread with the pressertech stage 2 are me and Arnie. Unfortunately my stinger is still undrivable so the only person providing data is Arnie. I accept all donations to get my stinger up and running on some dynos.

Nothing wrong with the PT tune. If he asked PT if he could add 5 psi to their 91 octane tune with a piggy back they would say "hell no!"

This could end baaaad! I’m betting he’s super lean up top now and far exceeded 91 oct.

Right now I am just running 93-95 Octane, the car will be checked out on Tuesday to make sure hoses and CC are are doing their jobs lol and I will never run the car with High boost with out matching Octane Values, I am just testing and showing my true findings, as many who know me by now I have had a hard time getting power to the wheel to get what many others seemed to be getting easier , not here to put anyone tunes downs :) just being careful about what I tried as I don’t want to damage the car :) I see that there are many experts on here share their advice, and for me I am just looking at all the advice given here on this subject and I am great full , for all the suggestions and advice:) The RaceChip and with ECU Tune has not acted any different than with the stock ECU only difference I have noticed was the limp mode no longer happens since the ⛽️ gas changes, this allowing the RC map to work normal as designed . Results = a little better 0-60 time , Fuel mileage same ! Difference from my fastest time of 4.53 before to 4.38 =.15 with now the PT ECU tune +RaceChip :) this is my findings mostly likely with PT 93 tune this time will on all accounts be faster than what I have today :),, Just did my last launch for while ,,my best to date 1/8 mile time, dropped to,,,, 8.17 Secs .. quick note all my testing is done using Dragy device !! Happy Easter Everyone ,,stay safe !!

This is like saying "I'll never buy a 911 because Paul Walker crashed his"....
it was a Carrera GT not a 911. Also he didn’t crash it, he was the passenger and also it wasn’t his car.

You should stack your RaceChip with a JB4. Just add a lil bit of octane booster. Your ECU tune+RaceChip+JB4 could maybe get you a 4.29 0-60. Make sure to run both Piggybacks at their highest level though. Should be fine with your new fuel.
