What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

Was it hard?
It was a little more tricky than if you had a GT2, as you have to pull the shift knob off (because the shift boot is attached to the center console). But you just have to pull up on the knob and it will come off, super easy.

The rest is pretty straight forward after that.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Emblem Management: If you're on lease and don't want to remove badges, or don't wanna spend the money on the E, K and STINGER emblems, do what I did and add mystique to the car by wrapping the logo in CF ! I did for front, back and airbag emblem.

Dropped off and picked up the car from the dealer today.

My airbag light came on this past weekend and turns out the airbag was unplugged? Said that after the recall was done it wasn't plugged in but that was done a long time ago so I guess it just wasn't plugged in all the way and shook itself loose over time. Glad I haven't needed it!

Also wanted to get the cracked trim pieces addressed and they easily ordered new ones without any fuss. BUT they said they will be black and that Kia is no longer painting them since that seems to be the issue with them cracking.

And I followed up on getting the back hatch repainted along the edge that meets the roof that slowly been losing more and more paint. Said they sent off pictures to the GSM for approval (which was supposed to happen months ago) so hopefully that will happen this time.

I had mine replaced and repainted a couple months ago. I guess these are rubber pieces which would explain how they don't last with the paint. If mine get bad again i'm just going to leave them black and then i'm going to wrap the roof black like a lot have been doing.

What did you use? - assuming they are the same valves as before, it's a big improvement!

It's the same valves. I used the crc valve cleaner spray. It wasn't as stuck on as I assumed. Kind of like strong gum. I will let it soak for a day, don't think it can damage my engine if I let it sit there.

Yeah I think the black roof might be the move with these black sides. See what it looks like when the parts come in.

Make the dealer yank the good painted ones off a car on the lot.

It isn’t right that they are half assing the warranty on them.

if they are too incompetent to be able to supply painted replacements, then they can throw the butt ugly black ones to the cars on the lot for sale.
