I updated my JB4 to V13 this morning... yesterday, I didn't have any issues with overboost, however, today, it seems I have hit 30psi...

I have attached a number of files...

Mods...
JT Intercooler and piping
JT 4in turbo back exhaust
JT intakes
denso gapped plugs to 0.22
JB4 running Map 5

THANKS!!!

Does your turbo back exhaust includes downpipes?

I see boost touching 22.9psi on a shift. Looks like you may need the EWG connectors to get WGDC down.

The first log is very similar to what I have experienced after I went catless, except it usually occured for me in higher gears.
Partial throttle and boost goes super high, then limp mode (you have no boost after it occurs).
You must not look at Boost (pre TB), but rather at Boost2 (post TB) to see the actual boost that you were running.
In that log the max boost2 is 21.6psi.
Logs 2~4 don't show much.
In the 5th log around the end, there is up to 24.1psi.

The EWG harness will fix this. I have seen great improvements on my car.

BTW this problem is related to the mods and not to updating to the v13 firmware. (only the reading may be higher)
The misleading title may scare some people. :D

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Thanks... :-)

Yes, I have a full exhaust, turbo back (ie. dump pipes, high flow cats and twin 3 inch into single 4 inch)

@Terry@BMS what should I do? Are the EWG connectors ready?

Is it possible to pay for express shipping to AUS?

Do I need anything else?

I am coming from having previously "highly modified car" in Australia... What I have done to my Stinger would be considered very mild over here! We usually have intercooler, intakes, full exhaust, ported wastegate and upgraded actuator, injectors, fuel pump, valve springs, sparkplugs and head studs for mild modifying... and highly modified would include e85, big turbo, fuel rails, surge tank, billet oil pump, manifolds, billet pistons and stronger conrods... Many of the modified street cars here run 500rwkw, as it's easy to make on a straight 6 barra engine...

Anyway... I am new to electronic wastegates!!!

I look forward to your reply... and possibly helping out other Aussies with these upgrades!!! Thanks

Any benefit to installing these if you're not overboosting?

Right now they are most useful for those who need to lower boost due to exhaust modifications, and those running heavily modified who need to build more boost.

@Terry@BMS is there a way to get this log reader?

And, do you have any idea when it will be available to purchase?

If I run Map3 is that going to help with less chance of overboost?

Any map will overboost.
I get overboost in Map 0. :D

@Terry@BMS

Any idea on the ETA of wastegate modifier?
Is there a reader we can download to view log files in a graph?

Thanks!

The windows JB4 app is available for download (google will find it easily).

@Terry@BMS Best method to find out when the connectors are ready?

Can I be one of the trial people? or have all of those sets gone?

Crazy that you have to spend MORE money to make your vehicle function normally.‍♂️
