• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

What did you do to your Stinger in Australia today?

Did a thorough wash + Lazy Wax + After Glow. Changed wheel logos to the Korean "E" version.
Removed the dealer number plate frames. Not entirely sure it looks better with the white outline though.
Re-badged the back with large Stinger script. Ran out of time to do the front one so it'll have to wait.
It was quite a pain to get the adhesive off but the wife and I took turns over what seemed like a couple of hours.

Trying to take photos of a glossy black car is a first-world problem in itself as most of my pictures have too much detail in the reflection.

I'm impressed by your plate delete job (if you must insist). Calendar worthy!

I guess he drives it like that too?

Hold on... I only removed the number plate frame with the dealership name and phone number. The number plates are still there but I just photoshopped them out for posting online. We have to drive with front and back plates in my state.

As blanking out license plates seems to bug you to no end, I thought I’d make this offering for you calendar file.

Fitted the BMS Performance Dual Intake system recently, it is a quality kit and this adds some niiiice induction noise too (...the sucking, blow-off thing ...lol)

TODAY ... I got around to my muffler guy who fitted the NGM Delta Axleback mufflers I ordered, and "as advertised" it is the "No Drone" solution I was looking for ... I'm really liking it  (...but I will post my proper review over in that discussion thread once it beds/carbons up over the next few drives).

And damn! ... my beast sounds like a jet engine now when I get on it now :sneaky: ... hell yes!

20k service completed, all ok, tyres good for another 10k, brakes good for another 20k, and wiper rubbers good for another 30k!

Lucky they reported on those wiper rubbers o_O ... otherwise what would you do ?

Made me feel so much better after parting with $436.

So basically an oil change. Must have been that Genuine Fuel Additive that really added up? Brake fluid replaced at only 20k?? Wow.
Yeah, you don't get much for $500 I guess, but they did fit the service reminder sticker and check those wiper blades ;)

I know that they changed oil & filter, brake fluid, and cabin air filter as I observed that.
I also know the battery wasn't inspected as nothing had been disturbed in the boot.
My usual mechanic was on holidays and I wasn't allowed in workshop as much as before. I was left wondering what else may have been skipped over.

What is a fuel tank air filter. Shouldn't that be a fuel filter.
I’m guessing it’s probably a vent with a filter to prevent vapour lock.

I wondered the same but forgot to ask. Also wanted to know it's location.

Maybe they get away with that by "visually inspecting" the results of a battery test. :P
