There are three dimensions to check

The height and width of the outlet, and the diameter of the inlet.

In my case I ordered
Inlet 54
Outlet 75x105

If you have a 63mm exhaust pipe you should get a 63mm INLET. You say you got a 63x105 but I wonder if you didn't match it to the outlet height.

My bad I should have specified - the inlet size I ordered was 63mm and the outlet is 75x105.
I think I should be fine as the MBRP outlet is 2.5inch (63.5mm) and Akrapovic tip internal diamater is approx 64mm

Is anyone able to post a measurement of the MBRP outlet with a ruler so I can compare

Install complete and it sounds amazing. But....I could not get the tips installed. We tried bending it out to no avail. Maybe need to try a sleeve or something.

Either way, it sounds amazing, but there is a little drone. Gotta figure out the tips.

I have a round set for sale in the classifieds that do fit, had em installed for a while on mine.

Need a little help. Installing tomorrow and I after looking over everything I am concerned that the exhaust tips are too small. Looking at page one, the exhaust tips went over the exhaust. But mine pretty much match right up with each other. Did anyone need to do any bending of the tips? I really hope I didn't get hosed with my order. I ordered 63mmx89mm (1x Universal Carbon Fiber Car Exhaust Tip Clamp 63MM Muffler Trim Cover From USA | eBay).

Thanks in advance.

GM @BigPlum , if you ordered the tips for the MBRP AND you ordered the round one, then 63x89 is the perfect size for it, it will fit like a glove on the MBRP mufflers however you will require a little bit of trim from the diffuser but nothing alarming, I probably shaved up 2-3mm

Do you have any other exhaust mods? You have drone with just the catback?

Man, I know Austin is the southern mecca for homeless, but y'all can afford stingers now?
You must be working a corner near the Domain.

Welcome to the forum. :)

Mine got in from K8 today (ordered during black friday), getting installed early next week. Have the injen intakes on too so interested to see how it sounds.

Thinking i'll be jumping to a jb4 too since 93 is standard pump goodness here

Good to hear K8 customers that ordered on black friday are getting them. Hopefully there is light at the end of the tunnel for me (also ordered black friday).

I have no other exhaust mods.

So, after giving it a couple of days, I think that I was just being overly sensitive at first. I think it's less drone and more just increased in-cabin noise. Overall, I like it. Really want to see if the exhaust tips "lower the volume" in-cabin.

I have tips and the in-cabin noise is still there (perhaps less, I've never heard it without tips). It's most resonant at 2-2.2K RPM.

Interestingly, I think there may be a "room node" effect going on, because the noise seemed to be lessened yesterday when I drove around with the windows down (although it could also just be wind noise drowning it out).

This leads me to consider some soundproofing (CLC/MLV) treatments before attempting a quarter-wave resonator.

Getting mine installed Monday afternoon (no tips) so I'll share too.

FWIW I may not be the best judge or drone though. JCW Mini is straight piped with no rear seats/sound deadening

When you install tips, be sure that the tips do not rub against the bumper. The exhaust moves vertically and horizontally when the engine is on. On my car it was rubbing slightly at certain RPM and it created in cabin noise. Now that I fixed it, it all disappeared. No drone, no in cabin noise.

I see a lot of people here that cut the bumper just enough so that the tips can fit. This is not good, because the vibrations from the exhausts are transmitted to the cabin, so drone may be gone but in cabin loudness is still there.

Thank you so much for ordering with us during our big sale! I am glad to hear you got it already and you are one step closer to that sweet sweet MBRP Stinger 3.3T exhaust sound! Post up a video when you have it finished I would love to see how it turned out.

We are working with MBRP to get these exhausts cranked out as quickly as possible while keeping their quality up to par. I think you made a great choice to jump on the sale during Black Friday and I definitely appreciate you choosing the K8 Stinger Store as your one-stop shop for aftermarket Stinger goods. Hope to see you back soon. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

Depending on your trim, there is an option to turn off engine noise in the cabin which sounds like you probably have on.

that is not true, might be just for you.
I have shaved just enough for the tips to fit in and there is no room to play, they are on very tightly and do not vibrate with the diffuser/bumper.
Now looking at the picture you had posted, you trimmed a lot to fit your tips therefore they could have easily have room to vibrate but 99% of the mbrp tip install guys/gal on here only shaved up 2-3mm to fit the tips.

Exhausts move with engine, that's why they are on rubber hangers. You may not be sensitive enough to notice the vibration or have a different engine.

Had an exhaust shop spot weld my aftermarket oval tips in place so there would be no touching of the bumper. When I first installed, they were rubbing a bit and would create vibration in the cabin. Cost me like $15 to get them moved into a neutral position and locked down. Exhaust sounds perfect now. I'm doing a project this weekend of installing sound deadening material in the hatch floor. Should eliminate some of the ambient road noise that is typical with hatchbacks.

I got my email from K8 Stinger Store. My shipment is on it's way too!
