How to install CK71 DRL

Just finished mine up. Installed to only come on when the parking lights come on instead of being on all the time. This way, they will only come on when the headlights come on or when the turn signal/hazard lights are on. I also already had the "claws" installed on the vents.

Does anybody know what color is ground, which color is turn signal and then which one is power?
Looking for GT2 wiring.
Guessing Chris is using a new driver and his instructions don't match up to this. My driver has 4 wires (white, black, yellow, red). Looks like u can choose 50% power or 100% power base on which wire u use.

So when you have your headlight stalk turned to the first mode (headlight running lights only) the foglights come on too right? And then when you turn the headlight stalk to off everything is off?

They only come on when the parking lights are on..... so when the headlights are on (either with auto or ON), or when the hazard lights are on.

Really nice write up but of course I'm going to ask. Do I HAVE to remove the front bumper or does that just make it easier? I've only had the car a month so haven't dived into body panel removal yet
I have heard you can jack up the car and take off the front wheels to access the areas needed instead of taking off the Bumper. That was in one of Vivid Visuals vids he did when installing the DRL's on his Stinger.

This is what I wound up doing. I'm sure it would have been easier with the bumper off, but it really wasn't too bad with it on :)

I'm still thinking about getting them but they are expensive to send here, over $500.
I'm a woman and I'm not keen on fiddling with nuts, pliers and ripping off the Bumper ( even though the posted instructions are good ) no sireeee, I would pay some bloke to do it for me

There's a few things on that video that were completely unnecessary. However removing the bumper is the best way to install the CK71 DRLs.

So how did you achieve this picture? Because this is how I would want to run them in the daytime along with having the option to turn all lights off.

IIRC, that is with the parking lights turned on on the stalk
Oh I gotcha, i guess I’ve been referring to the parking lights as running lights. I’m going to wire it the same way you did then. Thanks!

How do you access the wiring through the wheel well? Take off the wheel well cover?

You should only have to move out of the way the part that faces the bumper, not the whole liner. There is another how to thread that shows how to do it that way.

Can someone who knows the wiring well please give me a call. Think I might have tapped into the wrong wire. Thanks. 251-747-4775. Todd
