• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Pictorial where did you go in your Stinger today

Nice little meet up yesterday at Liverpool Mega centre outside Krispy creme. We were checking out our various mods. Spoilers, splitters, chips, exhausts etc.

As it turned out of the 6 Stingers we had there were 5 different exhausts. JUN B1, Borla type 2, Jonny Tig, Varex and Ark grip. Quite an opportunity to hear the differences. The JT and Ark are quite cultured, the JUN B1 and Varex had some added rasp and a nice throaty note. But I think the Borla took some beating. Louder deeper and generally more X rated:laugh:.

One of the guys mates was from Kia marketing and wanted to know if we had any concerns or observations about the Stinger. Not short of a word I relayed such issues across such as Sunroof, squeaks ,rattles and my personal favourite the not so great infotainment hub.View attachment 35916 View attachment 35917 View attachment 35920
Fantastic ! I see Daniel's car with his new Splitters :) Glad you got to hear the Borla.

@Ozstung, did the 6th Stinger have a stock exhaust ? no Bimodal there ?

Yes I'm pretty sure it did I knew I missed one:laugh:. A few of these boys had there cars chipped. The meet was organised in an adlib fashion through a general conversation. It just shows how one doesn't need a lot of prep work to get things happening.
I'm going to have to speak to Tegan about a drive shortly. Those boys were interested.

Really sorry about that it was a FB thing , I was working and stumbled on the conversation and invited myself and then I had to queue up at car lovers to clean the Stinger.

Hey everyone, been following the forum for a while but decided I'd jump in and finally make an account. I drove from Sydney to Brisbane. More photos of the Stinger on my profile.20191229_171006.webp

Howdy newbie, where are you based? If you can put in your details it helps for possible meet ups etc.
Did you see any other Stingers on that 900km+ trip. If so you can put them in the thread "Have you seen any Stingers in the wild?"

Currently in Sydney, missed out on that Liverpool meet up, about 20min drive for me. Do unmarked cop Stingers count? Everywhere! Once I find out how to edit my profile I'll add some stuff haha

G’day & welcome to the forum, the drive from Sydney to Brisbane in the Stinger is really good, I did it earlier this year & I found I was pleasantly refreshed at the end of it, they are a great car so you should have a lot of fun in it.
