Burger Tuning JB4 for Kia Stinger!

I should note that I'm running 91 octane. Would you recommend resetting the ECU? There was excess airflow during the adaptation period after I installed the intake where I forgot to put a clamp on the passenger side turbo to the intake.

Resetting ECU won't do anything. No obvious issues so I'd keep on trucking.

You can reset the ECU adaptation values using a fancy scanner, but you can just keep driving it and it will get better on its own.

Okay, thank you guys for your inputs! I just got kind of worried so your reassurances are very much welcome!

Boost is low, probably due to the colder weather. But log itself looks OK.

0-60 via CANbus is not going to be super accurate but gets you in the ballpark. Expect some variance run to run relative to say a dragy that uses high speed GPS for more precise measurements. 0-60 is all in the launch usually.

With max 16 PSI in 1st and only 12 PSI in 3rd gear it seems this is more than just IAT. IAT drops the boost uniformly.

Still hard are work on Stinger R&D. Haven't cracked the EWG code yet but getting closer. :)

Yeah that’s great news and know many people that are looking forward to that upgrade.

That’s when lap3 will start working on their v3.

lol those poor customers already had to eat $1000 on their LapV1 to spend another $1200 on LapV2 which still doesn't do everything the JB4 does and runs a 3rd rate JB4 app copy despite costing a lot more than an actual JB4. They don't even have boost by gear yet lol. Don't worry we've got a few things in the works including EWG control to obsolete LapV2. :)

I can’t speak for the majority, only for others like myself that don’t get to sixty as quick at the rest.
Altitude makes a huge difference, both actual ASL and DA. Put your location in your profile at a minimum, and you'll get better responses.

That will solve the oscillation issues. I am also guessing it will give you more control over how it holds boost = more power?

Maybe we address solve the overboost problem and the boost taper at higher rpm

EWG provides direct wastegate control and is just another tool in the tool box that will come in handy for various situations. Once we get it working we'll highlight some of the advantages. :)
