For the JB4 which map do I run?

Octane booster will boost power as will mixing in E85. But the logs are not long enough for me to do a real analysis. You'd really want something at higher speed with shifts as normally timing problems crop up post full boost shift.

I run map2 on 91 octane though on our car.

I'll do a couple freeway runs for longer and upload today. The only thing is in CA as you know it's kinda hard to drive longer distances at full boost. Like does it need to be a 0-100 getting on the freeway? Or continuously driving 80 etc.

I'd only do logs on safe private tracks. So no hurry just post them when you can safely record them.

more like a 50-150mph pull.

Being new to this,I’m wondering what is causing the booster variance in the two different map one runs? The first one resembles what I would expect to see on a map to zero run?

Which may explain why I said I had no noticeable power increase in map 1. It felt similar to stock. Maybe my computer needs to adapt?

If you want to compare map1 then do a similar log of map0 and map1 to compare with. The map1 log looked normal to me.

I put a half bottle of ATP octane booster (because my car only has half a tank gas), and added 2 gallons 91 to mix it up. I don't notice any power changes really, but the AFR was jumping all over at first to 25+ and back down to normal 13-14 seconds later. I assume the computer was adjusting to higher octane. Longer I drive it the AFR seems more stable.

Is there an adjustment period or break in of sorts for computers to adjust? I know others said intake took few days to really notice. Btw Terry thank you for your support. It's a big reason I went the JB4 route. One thing I'm wondering is can I close the app to play music and keep map 2 in background? I've just kept it open because when I close and re open it defaults to not connected. I assume the app is only for logging+controls and even if I exit out it will stay on map 2 unless I change it?

AFR is only going to be a useful metric to you when looking at logs during wide open throttle. Otherwise, it's completely meaningless.

For octane booster just add a full can of any MMT based booster (Lucas, NOS Race) to 91 octane to make it sort of like 93 octane.

Only need to open app when logging or if you want to change maps. It always remembers the last map setting when closed. It can log in background also if you need, most people use that to have dragy in the foreground for performance metrics.

Thank you. Great product and support, will recommend. In Map 2 like I said the car is night and day. I'll keep you posted on any changes.

I moved out to Corona from Irvine but work in Santa Ana ( Penn &17th ). Your the first local guy I've seen on here so far.

Our ECU auto adapts but really only during WOT(wide open throttle) runs. This is why it’s suggested to do a few WOT pulls, the longer the better, after any mods or changes to octane.

There is one other local. Niko who sold me the stuff and installed.

Hey Terry is it normal for it to constantly make new logs on it's own? Or does that mean it's detecting something not so good? It made about 20 logs today.

If you've set it to record logs at > 70% throttle you'll get a lot of them. You can also select to have it combine all logs for a given day in the same file. Makes navigating things later easier.

For Map 3 what is the safe octane level based on testing? I found an E85 station a mile away. Wanna try map 3 or 4. All I have is intake+muffler delete. I need to figure out how many gallons mixed with 91
