What did you pay for your Kia Stinger?

Can anyone recommend a good dealership near NY to get a good deal on a 2019 GT2? A salespersons name would be helpful as well. Thanks.

I came across a HiChroma Red Ext./ Red Int. 2018 Kia Stinger GT2 with about 16K miles with some after market addons (badges, spolier, exhaust) at $38K.
And it sparks a couple of questions for me:

1. Are the Red on Red Stinger Gt2's considered 'more valuable'?
2. The previous owner or the dealer botched the rear de-badge.
The 'Stinger' badge is a bit crooked. How much should I read into it?
3. Would not the after market addons void Kia's standard warranty?

I don’t think they made red/red ext
/int, if they did they don’t any more. Might be aftermarket seat covers or something

Really?
The red color extends to the doors and everywhere else. The car history says that it was previously a lease, which makes it unlikely the previous owner made these changes. May be the dealer?

When i was a year ago or so looking on kia building page i could chose red ext/int.
When i bought mine slightly used, it had the black seats :(

Kia pushed out some rare combos from the factory. It's most likely factory. They pushed out some panthera/red as well but is rare

10/11/19 - Liberty Kia in Northern NJ
Brand New 2019 Kia Stinger GT1 AWD in White
MSRP $49,140
Rebates ($7,000) (Financing 4k & Loyalty 3k)
Dealer Discount ($3,390)
Price before TTF $38,750

I traded in a 2015 Kia Optima EX Premium Package for a trade of $12k

+ NYS Tax, Tags and Dealer Fees, Net Price was $29,9XX.

Good deal on both ends and I am very happy. Car has been great thus far and is 300+ miles already.

Just purchased a GT1 in Yonkers Kia from Terry Michel. Got ajust under 10% off MSRP and then the finance offer and conquest. Took a ton of shopping around and back and further withbother dealers but good deal and he was a pleasure to work with.

after reading all the sunroof problems i went with a gt without one. sure it has a few less options that would be cool to have but none were deal breakers. had a hard time finding a dealer that didn't ruin the front end with a license plate bracket but thankfully a dealer in fort worth had the brains not to do that...because that is a deal breaker. 2019 panthera gray $31k after discounts.

My dealer hit mine with a front license plate mount and a stupid rear dealer decal:sick:. It wasn't as bad as the dealer before that though (bought mine used) whose decal outline I could still see and was much bigger. Took some time for me to finally remove the remnants of that, and in the correct light I swear I can still see it. No one else can, just me apparently.

it's amazing that some dealers don't understand this. let the customer decide if he wants the front plate. i haven't had a car with a front plate in...30+ years (even though it's the law no one bothers you about it).

Need some assistance. Dealer isn't willing to go any lower on this Premium AWD in WA. I see tons of people on here getting good deals. This price is on a 12k/36m lease, that I intend on doing the buyout trick after the fact.

Cap Cost seems high. I trust you guys :) Should I walk? They are transferring it from one end of the state to another since I want the Blue/Black combo.

I’m not sure what a good price is on that vehicle, but a couple things: a 24 month lease should get you a slightly better incentive. And probably the lowest mileage limit if they do less than 12k. Basically you want the “worst” lease deal if you’re going to buyout because that’s where they think they’re making the most money. Second, if they have to ship the car they probably won’t work nearly as hard for the deal. Dealers would much rather move a car off their own lot and not ship it. You might get a better price dealing directly with the dealer across the state. I got an awesome price by just walking in and saying “I want the GT2 you’re most motivated to move.” If you want an in-demand color from a far away dealer they are much less motivated to come to you on the negotiation.

Doesnt certain states require dual plates?
In Sweden we must have 2 plats unless its an MC.

Yeah, typically you'll only get busted for something like this if you get stopped for something else and the cop is on a power trip.

They are required here in Illinois and never had one on any of my cars. I will make it very clear to the dealer that before delivery I do not want a front plate on the car.

I went ten years without a front plate and had zero issues. After that I was stopped 7 times in 6 months, all different departments, each time the front plate was the reason for the stop. I got cut some slack because I worked for the Sheriffs Office but I was tired of getting stopped and have run a front plate since.

I guess my point is, I was firmly in the “I’ve never been harassed” camp up until that rapidly changed for no apparent reason.

That's interesting. I had the front plate stolen off my car once (no clue why someone would steal that) and reported it just to be safe and asked the cop who had the case and he said I'd probably be fine without one, and it's a requirement here as far as I know.
